Dude it's Satella not the Witch of Envy Because the Witch of Envy and Satella are separate entities (*Split personality) SATELLA is actually very good , kind and caring of Subaru Witch of Envy is the one who grabs Subaru's heart whenever he tries to say about RBD Witch of Envy is the one who possessed Emilia in the Sanctuary and pretty much swallowed everything Satella is the one who came inside the Echidna's Castle of Memories Note: **Both love Subaru Satella is kind and caring but Witch of Envy is possessive , obsessive and aggressive..... Arc 6: The Corridor of Memories is the best story arc in Re:Zero (so far) and imo one of the best story arc in the entire anime and manga medium. I can't wait for an anime adaptation.

@@DanielLopez-ob9jz Arc 4 had more iconic moments from Parent and Child, 2nd trial, Tea Parties, Rabbit Scene, Garfiel Vs Elsa, Reason To Believe, Choose Me, Knighting Ceremony, Taste Of Death, Warlock, Garf vs Subaru, Satella's speech, Omega etc (whether they're better or not is debatable), the pacing is only bad during the beginning of Arc 4, it picks up once Subaru gets killed by Elsa for the first time. Better antagonists/characters in Elsa, Echidna and Roswaal. Exploring the witches philosophy and even Satella herself. It also had better development for the cast overall (Otto, Garfiel, Ram, Beatrice, Subaru, even Emilia was great and fleshed out in Arc 4, can't say the same for Arc 6), better development for Subaru, and a far more satisfying and earned ending than Arc 6. Re:Zero has always had poor pacing, repetition and redundancy throughout it's arcs (I say this as a Re:Zero fan), Tappei isn't a professionally trained writer (Rai constantly dodging, Emilia's silver bells etc). It's only accentuated to you in Arc 4 because the anime presented the scenes underwhelmingly due to production issues. Overall the satisfaction of seeing not just Subaru but most of the main cast overcome huge hurdles in their lives is just unmatched. Arc 6 may have better pacing and better psychological horror elements but Arc 4 is the Godfather Part 2/Spider-Man 2/The Dark Knight/Empire Strikes Back of Re:Zero, being a perfect follow-up to arc 1-3 by fleshing out every character along with the protagonist, with a consistently compelling villain in Roswaal (arguably Echidna?), and cementing the series as something special with a nigh perfect ending.

Arc 4 in the webnovel is literally the most stretched out thing in existence as yes, some amazing scenes happen, but it feels like a whole bunch of nothing happens at points whereas I think the anime does a good job pacing this, but it doesn't give enough context into his inner mind at points imo. I do agree that arc 4 is an amazing followup to arcs 1-3, but talking purely follow-ups, arc 3 as an experience going through the story for the first time was amazing because I didn't think Re:Zero would go to this and arc 3 as a first time is in like, my top 3. And well, arc 6 is shorter, but it personally speaking had almost as many highs as arc 4 while also being like half the word count. I don't think arc 6 needed a strong antagonist as the greatest deciding factor of the arc was not the villains themselves, but Amnesiabaru. Also, Julius' development made him among my top 3 favorite characters in all of Re:Zero due to how uniquely it did his character arc. Also, I just really love the claustrophobic atmosphere of arc 6 for some reason. I feel like in general tho, Tappei's pacing has generally gotten better over the arcs.

Arc 6 is unquestionably the fan favorite arc, including you I’ve seen maybe 2-3 other people ever say it wasn’t their favorite. Yep, not even that they didn’t like it, just that it wasn’t their favorite. Either way, the fact that arc 6 is almost universally acclaimed as being the best or sometimes the 2nd best arc is a testament to how good it is.

Re:Zero is the anime novel that takes time travelling (rewind from death concept) to the extreme. ------------ Ultra short summary: Due to Hallucinations resulting from Childhood trauma, the MC suffered coma-inducing grievous injuries in the real world due to him getting hit by a truck while standing still in the middle of a road. This resulted in him being kept under a Persistent Vegetative State in a hospital. That Vegetative State he is in? The Isekai adventure that you are seeing. His lucid dream of a parallel world. That is the reason why the world seems to rewind every time he dies in it. It functions just like a Lucid Dream.
