I love Ramune. They have a bunch of different flavors at a local Asian market but my favorite was for sure the og clear/blue. If I liked carbonated drinks anymore, I would drink those often for the subtle but delicious flavor... which makes me wish these Ramune flavored things without the carbonation were around 🤤 I also wish this Boba tea trend kicked off 10+ years ago. There used to be bubble tea places all over where I lived but they all ended up going out of business over time 😭 now that they've become trendy, those local businesses could have made a killing! But that's just a personal anecdote (I live in Washington, US). My favorite flavors were Taro and my own combo - Rose and Peach 🌹🍑🤤 Omg now I really want one.

Honestly Amanda I’ve been feeling the same way about animal crossing. It was such a big part of quarantine and I loved it, but recently i haven’t been playing. Like honestly it was a fucking personality trait of mine. I would force myself to play EVERY DAY but I finally let go and took a break. I’m so glad that I’m not the only one that has gotten bored of it. Girl we need updates. Animal crossing will always be apart of my life ... I still fucking love it.

Dear gosh can we just appreciate how pure Amanda is? She's praying for the souls of cockroaches! I love how the stereotype of magicians used to be that people thought they were "nerds" and wouldn't date them (like it is in a lot of cartoons and Josh from Drake and Josh etc. but Amanda is over here hyping them up and honestly I literally could not agree more. Magic is cool and magicians all have a certain charm about them especially personality wise, if any of yall are single, ... how? Also I feel you on the "logically there's a reason I can't do the trick and it's I didn't read the directions right", because... also same Amanda. Mine was equally as much "not coordinated enough to do the right thing and still be "sneaky\distracting" enough to convince someone too... that's why I was better at pranks and jokes. Easier for me to be "over-dramatic" about something cause I'm known for being anxious and a little paranoid anyway and call my dad up saying I was failing some classes than it was to pluck the right card from a stack. (Even though I'm a bad liar too so it always had to be through text or a phone call or I had to like not look people in the eye) I like people with that charismatic entertaining energy to their personality a lot though, and it's one of the few things about myself too that I don't occasionally just get self conscious about... mine just all bleeds into making characters cause I don't have a ton of skill at any one thing like magic, or singing etc. And cause I get so self conscious drawing and making up tons of characters and stories is where I tend to put that energy As for doing it for "the wrong reasons" and "not being passionate" I think you were passionate, but it can just be hard to get, and I think subconsciously you just didn't wanna spoil the magic of magic for yourself. Like since you liked it being fascinating and unexplained cause that's what makes it interesting maybe your subconscious was just like "yeah just half ass read this cause the magical powers have to take SOME part in how this all works right? Not this long over-complicated process of random steps?" I only say so cause you obviously cared even more than I did and I felt the same way, like I didn't want to get it a. cause I just wasn't coordinated, focused or patient enough to learn properly, and b. cause in my heart of hearts I wanted magic tricks to still always amaze me when I saw them. As such an over-analyzer type I do actually like when they break it down afterward though. I didn't at first as like a kid though cause it ruined the illusion. Now I know there's a difference between a trick and like actual "magic" of various sorts in the wild so both fascinate me separately As for finding Zell a "somebody" I would pay to be that somebody. On my island he basically is XD A confident pan king for an anxious pan disaster aka myself lol

38:00 OK so my best bud took us to this anime store where they had all kinds of cute plushies (I bought some really cute ones) along with some Japanese candy. I've always wanted to try so Japanese candy since I was a kid, and I saw that they had some soda flavored gummies(it looks sort of like Taffy but it's chewier). It had Cola and Ramune soda flavor and I got to say that they both were so yummy! Especially the Ramune soda flavor! It tasted super mellow yet refreshing at the same time ♥

Marina’s Backstory (my head canon) As a baby Octopus, Marina was Abandoned by her Mother. She was left all alone in the Ocean, til she found a small island and camped there for a while. So when Amanda came along, she gladly accepted the request and saw Amanda as a Motherly figure. Because her Mother wasn’t there to teach her about strangers, She often fell for Sherb’s trickery, and she fell under as one of his testing ‘subjects’. She was being pushed around by Sherb, forced into things and she didn’t even know it. Her and Bianca were never properly introduced, so her only neighbour didn’t know that she was being used by a psychopath. Then she Met Lily one day whilst she was taking a stroll. They became friends, and hung out a lot. Being around The sweet and Innocent Lily made her realise how much she was being pushed around by Sherb. She approached Sherb to end this ‘friendship’, but Sherb just threatened her into staying in contact with him. Upset, Marina ended up opening up to lily in Tears, and Lily promised to Be there for Marina. Lily and Marina began dating a few days later. Then Zucker moved in. Marina knew that he had come to handle Sherb, and she thought that if she was super nice to him, he would help her. But Zucker got the wrong idea, and Marina Didn’t know. When they danced at the Festivale, Zucker thought it meant something else. He told Lily, one of his friends, that he and Marina were Dating. Lily was Heartbroken. She broke up with Marina, but wouldn’t tell her why. Marina was Devastated. Not only had she been abandoned at birth, but now Lily and Amanda, who she thought she could rely on, had left her too. And then Zucker Moved out. There was no Hope for Marina anymore. She was all alone, still being used by Sherb, feeling like nothing. In desperate need of attention, and in an attempt to make the Girl she still loved jealous, she started hanging out with other islanders, Goose, Kyle and Ankha. She broke off from Sherb, ignored all of his threats, and thought she was on top of the world. She didn’t need to be nice to get all of the attention she craved. But then Diana moved in. She stole Everything Marina thought she had. The attention, the love, and most importantly; Lily. She was so Fabulous, and she didn’t need to push other people down to get what she wanted. She tried to seduce Diana, but nothing worked. She was too loyal to Lily, and Marina Hated it.
