I think you're right about the lyrics. About the MV I want to add that I think RM is imagining how it would be if he would not be an artist, maybe not be in the spotlight (you see im in an office setting, behind the camera, presenting, on stage). The multiple RM's may represent the different possibilities he has in life (what choices will he make). RM once said at the tonight show that if he wouldn't be an artist, he would be an office worker (a business man). But when he is that in the MV, he wants to get out (looking for the exit all of the time). And the only way out is by going back on stage. That the place were he belongs, the 'Right place' for him. You see at in the end the same image as at the start of the MV (his head sticking out of the desk), meaning every time he's thinking about trying to do something else than to perform and be an artist, he's drawn over and over again to go back on stage. The weird looking people (that look like outsiders, not fitting in), are probably his different personalities, the different sides of him. That's what I get from it...

When society seems to be training people to be passive listeners to the influx of information and stimulation. RM puts the brakes on and makes you think ....and its so exciting.

This whole album is a masterpiece. I've never heard album like this. It's just perfect and it's chaos, rage, fun and I love every second of it. I recommended it to everyone I know that appreciates music. Please don't use colour coded lyric videos for this album cause his pen game deserves proper translation. And also please listen to whole album in one go cause the transitions are amazing.

RM every project is different from the last. I Adored INDIGO and my favourite track was CHANGE. When it dropped in the middle if the album I was so startled at the audacity of it I snorted and laughed despite its subject matter. This album picks up from that and follows the musical creative train of thought. He is a genius. Rarely do you find an established artist so willing to be experimental follow the art not the safe option. He trusts his audience to be genuine music lovers. His fan base are those sick of the pointless homogeneous samey samey pap being fed to us. Artists and musicians are going to adore this. I said INDIGO was a future cult classic. He's done it again, made my very select cd collection.

To me he is traveling with his other personalities. A cool/boss one, a kid/scared one, a happy go lucky/positive one, a logical/want to figure put things one and RM the one who made it in the spotlight. I think when he see things he can see from many perspectives of him same time. So he is getting lost on how he should juggle his perspective. Ofcourse I could be totally off but it's how I interpret this MV. Good luck💜

I think the no captions in the beginning was intentional. I think it was supposed to make us feel like how it's like in someone else's shoes who doesn't speak that language or is multilingual. Like how it is to be in other places and not able to understand the person speaking to you. For example, BTS when they were getting big and were traveling around being interviewed, especially in the US, being interviewed by people in English and that's not your first language not being able to understand them and the pressure it was for RM as a leader to be the only one speaking in English and being the translator. Also, the interviewer's dead pan expressions and hyper enthusiasm show how people can be fake or how we have to show an emotion or expression at times when we are not necessarily feeling that way because we or you are expected to. The MV and song are nuts. I love it! If you have seen the show Severance it gives me that kind of vibe. But this is in Namjoon's brain. All those people are like his personalities, his thoughts and emotions. Different parts of himself. But he's struggling inside and it's like the one who comes out who has to climb and leave all his other "hims" behind is the version he has to show to the world. He leaves parts of himself inside and only shows us one side of himself cus he felt like that's what he had to do at that time.That's why he feels lost or he did feel lost.

He’s lost who he truly is ,he is always expected to be RM of BTS and all of what that means (ex.expected to be the interpreter for the group,expected to be one of the writers-producers,expected to be perfect and not make any mistakes, etc) It’s gotten to the point where he has lost who he really is in this world.Like who is Namloon? He doesn’t even really know.
