@@TheAMPTheory also stray kids have actually been active the whole year they didnt have a comeback, including with kingdom which took up three months for them! theyve released tons of songs since then as well, just not through an album, and they've filmed variety shows, had concerts and attended and performed at award shows.

@@TheAMPTheory yeah, I noticed that the majority of the idols that go to the military service it’s not done until they’re around 29 to 31 years old… And they had to dedicate at least 18 to 24 months to the service and then they can get out… Just FYI 😊😊 Stray Kids are still young… The leader then BangChan is 25, and the youngest I.N is 21, so they have a while before they are obligated.

Yeah, comebacks are usually associated with a physical release, whether it's a single, mini-album, or full-album. They're also promoted with live performances on music shows, at least for the title track. It's pretty common to also promote a b-side. Some groups, including Stray Kids, will release new music without a comeback. Stray Kids usually calls them a "mixtape" if it's a group effort, or "skz-record" if it's only some of them.

kpop idols usually enlist when they're close to 30 y/o :) so stray kids have a lot of time left until they have to go. Comeback just literally means they're coming back with new music, so a new album + new mv. Great reaction 👍

Thank you for your reactions. No stray kids are not joining or haven't joined Military. In Korea the k-pop idols don't get exempt from the military and most idols want to do their military term because they feel that is their responsibility. 2 members of stray kids Bang Chan (leader orange hair), and Felix (deep voice mullet hair) are from Australia and i heard they haven't claimed citizenship in Korea yet and so they probably wont do military service. A comeback is the new release of a song/mini album/album from a k-pop group. It's called a comeback because there's usually a period of time between each release, which can vary from group to group or what the group has planned. Some comebacks can only take a month or two, some can take up to a year.

Omg I love this so much, the song and the beat is so catchy and I love the raps and vocals. For me Felix (my bias) just slayed his part. The choreo is on point like always and I'm just in love with the entire thing words can't begin to describe how I'm feeling about this song. its not possible in korea to get exemption from military service unless you fall under certain criteria (medical reasons for example). all korean men must serve 2 years by the age of 28, and most korean idols idols push their military duty all the way to the age of 28 to be able to stay in their career as long as possible. a lot of groups disband before the members are old enough to push 28 amyways, or some groups disband because some members have to leave for military service. its hard for a group to stay together when members have to leave like this, which is why only more popular groups have lasted through members leaving for military service. a lot of idols dont stop their career after military service though, and usually return as solo artists. Anyways, the oldest member of stray kids is 23 but he has Australian citizenship so.... the members of stray kids are years away from serving.

What do you mean, the groups disband? Isn't Super Junior still a group for example? They come back from their miltary-enlistment and continue... Super Junior just continue without the members who are in the army, and then they can join again when they are done...

Yeah military enlistment is a touchy subject .. for now the ones who can be exempt are olympic medalist and those in classic music and yes some agencies have been trying to get idols exempted . As of last year the government has made a change that idols can postpone unt the age of 30 (previously 28 years old) if they meet a certain criteria.
