Loved your reaction. You asked for a personal story... I'm 68 and had pretty much given up on my music and life in general. On March 27th this year, I discovered the I Am Singer SOS video and heard Dimash for the first time. It was exactly as you described. His voice went through me like a laser beam of LOVE and LIGHT and some kind of transformational magic. I was covered in waves of goosebumps for hours, crying like a baby and absolutely no idea why! That night, I sat down at the piano and played better than I had in 30 years! Now, I listen to Dimash every single day. I've learned several of his songs on the piano and have composed 3 of my own! I've heard similar stories from other Dears. Yes, my life has profoundly changed. It was like waking up from a dream. But, what I love and support most is the shared mission among Dimash and his Dears, of bringing unity and peace to the planet. alemde birlik bolsin Let there be unity in the world. 💜☮💜

I found Dimash because, in the summer of 2017, Avi Kaplan announced he was leaving Pentatonix. They had been my every night dose of phenomenal singing, but the number of Pentatonix reactions went down as their creation of new recordings slowed. I saw the header of Opera 2 in a side bar that said, "World's Best Singer," and thought that was presumptuous. So I decided to listen to S.O.S., that made no such claim to fame. I was so overwhelmed, I must have watched it at least 6 times, back to back, before even listening to reactors. I was already willing to accept him as the best and have watched him improve more and more and more, which didn't seem possible for someone who was already the best. I also became especially fond of vocal coach reactions. I not only learned from them, but trusted my own reactions all the more after seeing professional performers completely flabbergasted by him.

Guys you always make me laugh and i look forward to your reactions every time. I've seen a number of reactions where groups of guys are joking and messing about but it's always in a way that's directly poking fun at Dimash and you never do that and you have my utmost respect. There's a number of reactors who have started reacting to a fan made series of videos called The Ultimate Guide to Dimash which explains a bit more about Dimash's journey, musical background and how he does what he does, it's extremely well done and especially edited so that reactors can use it without any fear of copyright issues. There's 12 in the series and they're all fairly short. The creator, Lilasi, made them as a very useful guide for reactors to learn a little more about the man behind the music. I'll leave the link for the playlist for the 12 videos below. kzbin.info/aero/PLIGVyLq6etukcAI6pyk7IxA5SqKLEWxSp

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than Fourteen(14) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. I love the Dimash Pit 😆 Everyone is freaking out because Dimash raised the original note 3 times. There is an extended version of this video with backstage scenes where Dimash's father shows up to surprise him. (The man that fist pumps at the end) Dimash asks him TWICE if he sang well. Even with that talent, he is still looking for mistakes and improvements to this day. I hope you guys have the AC on in TX. 🙁

I love that he was so flippant with this interpretation of the song, about a man sheltering in his house and all his troubles are gathering outside along with the wind. His father was in the audience and punched the air at the end. Dimash didn’t know his father was in the audience and said after, he wouldn’t have been so cheeky if he knew his dad was there. There are many many amazing songs to come. Stranger, El Amir En ti, Ikenaide…….

Thank you for your reaction. I was in a dark place in my life, I lost my son (he passed away couple of days after his 42nd birthday) I was going on KZbin & there on the screen was a handsome young man from Kazakhstan, so I decided to check him out. O MY Gosh, when I heard him sing SOS I got goosebumps. His presence and his beautiful & angelic voice touches and soothes my heart and soul, for which I am thankful. (This October will be 3 years that I discovered him). For me Dimash is the BEST singer in the world. Don’t get me wrong there are good singers but he is way on TOP. I love everything about him. Hi guys On your panel back there is a board that says "we are one" by coincidence: Dimash has a song with the same title "we are one"; Composed and written for thanks and gratitude to health workers in the period of covid and that is a beautiful song. Maybe they want to react. Nice reaction, as always and you know what they're talking about. Well done 👏

If Dimash met you he would call you "brother" and possibly give you a hug, depending on the situation. Obviously if you were in a large crowd he might not. But if you were introduced to him one-on-one, he definitely might hug you. He is a loving, caring person and endears himself to all who meet him. And when you guys do "Dimash pit" in the intro, I can't help but laugh each time. It's hysterical! And, btw, I've been a "Dear in the headlights" for five years and listen to him every single day!

The reality is that he has been training several hours a day for over 25 years. He SHOULD be a Master at the level he is at. The reason why we are so blown away, is that no other singer in modern times has studied to or sings from, the level he is at. He is the Mozart and Rembrandt of modern history. There is also another reason too though, on a molecular cellular level, his tones and sounds are healing. Think of the "sound machines" we buy with the sounds of thunderstorms, a fan, ocean tides etc. Those sounds sooth us to sleep. Dimash's music is healing. You feel goosebumps, you may cry, you may be energized, you may think of a lost love and a hundred other emotions during each song. The highs and lows of the sounds he makes, wash over us like a wave and we begin to need to hear at least 1 song every day. Us DEARS are over 20,000,000 strong and you hear about us coming together at his concerts, from all over the world. We eat and sleep together, we sing and cry together, we travel from country to country to make sure he always has a full stadium. There is no fighting, shooting, division of space. Can you think of any other musician in our history (other than BTS) where this is the case? he is humble, quiet, shy, and honest. He is always a gentleman and never gets into any trouble. He makes all of us want to be better people. You will find a surprise in each and every song he sings. And he will never stop.

An interesting and enjoyable reaction. Another performance that's both stunning and nicely musical is Dimash's duet/mashup of Drunken Concubine/Diva Dance with Li Yugang, a counter tenor of the Chinese Opera. Both singers are outstanding and you probably get the full range of Dimash's voice. It is also fun (like Opera 2).

Opera2 was the second performance of The Singer competition in 2017 in China. The song is in Russian. A language he also speaks fluently. The original was from the famous Russian singer named Vitas. The song is very famous and popular in China. The audience already knew what to expect, but were very surprised when Dimash raised the pitch three times. Vitas but only once. The man who raises his fist in the air at the end is Dimash’s father. He came from Kazakhstan to support his son. However, Dimash knew nothing about it when he performed. I think it was very difficult for him at the beginning. You have to imagine, until this competition in China in 2017 he never was alone. Dimash, like many other Kazakhs, has the tradition of living under one roof with the whole family all together. He lives with his grandparents, parents, a sister, a brother an other relatives in the same house. And now he had to go to China alone, didn‘t know the country, didn‘t know the language, didn‘t know the traditions or livestyle in this country and up to that point he spoke (almost) no English, except maybe „Thank you“ and „My name is Dimash“. Only one interpreter came along and that at the age of 22. He was almost a kid to me then (my son is 20 so I can imagine…). And after that performance he saw his dad. So beautiful and emotional. BTW the audience is also the jury. During the Opera 2 performance, he flirted with the audience in a way that wasn’t really his habit at the time (fortunately that has changed in the meantime). And afterwards he said that he was really uncomfortable that his father saw him like that🤭. Luckily he didn’t find out until afterwards because I love it when he’s like that on stage🥰. I love this video because he still seemed so innocent. Just a boy and he didn't seem as serious as he sometimes is these days. He still looked carefree. I think what's happening today in the world worries him a lot. If you might want to see the whole video, especially the meeting with his father, privately, here is the link. Opera2: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIG7haaKp5l1rac Please react to Olimpico from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. He is a famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance is my absolute favourite🥰. I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I have gasping breath all the time. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so demanding and commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpyzhGmqbZmknZY Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

I love the fact that you recognised the emotional effect on people and how his voice changes people's lives. Yes yes yes. I have watched so many reactors say that their life has changed for the better after listening to Dimash. One guy who had had a harsh life, done a lot of bad things, he said he was a different person after getting into Dimash. And although it was initially the frequencies of Dimash's beautiful voice that touched him and his amazing skills, when the guy started getting Dears sending him overwhelming love and support he realised what it was he'd been missing. He turned his life around. Dimash is a catalyst for love, and he does everything in his power to bring people all over the world together into a united human race. There are many of his songs that demonstrate this including War and Peace, We Are One, El Amor En Ti (The Love In You), Across Endless Dimensions and his 13 minute magnum opus The Story of One Sky. He sang the latter for the first time live in front of the pope and world religious leaders at the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan in 2022 and got a standing ovation from the delegates. What this man does with his voice should not be underestimated. Thank you for a fabulous reaction. Love you both ❤️❤️❤️

When I found him my anxiety was pretty much at its peak and I had no way to manage it. His music has been a major tool for managing my anxiety and stress, it motivates me in so many positive ways, and I've even started exercising and eating better again thanks to his music and values. 👉 Not opera… kidding… is the wind 🤣 That was the second song in the competition "Singer 2017". The organizers of the competition asked Dimash to sing this "simple song”. The song is about a guy who built a house and now lives all alone and sad in it ...listening to the howling of the wind outside ... This song belongs to the Ukrainian- Russian vocal clown Vitas. (Relates to Videos on KZbin: Vitas sings never live and his voice is always processed electronically) However, the Chinese forgot to ask Vitas. The rights holders have sued the Chinese television... unfortunately too late. The Chinese had already put it online and so it stays on the internet forever. Have loved this one since I first saw it BUT, have you heard his GAKKU performance of Unforgettable Day? In this unique performance he hits a D8 whistle note!!! You need to hear it - if you can. ha - It is simply amazing! And he doesn't do it in all his performances of this song. Only the GAKKU performance that I can't remember where it was.

The original artist, Vitas who sang this song was so upset that Dimash sang it so much better, that he sued Dimash prohibiting him from ever singing it again. Vitas couldn't go as high as Dimash. Did y'all notice a distinguished gentleman who threw a fist up in the air when the song was over? Well that was Dimash's dad who paid him a surprise visit. Thanks for the awesome reaction❣️

Hello Lone Star AMPs. Loved your reactions and attempts at analysis, especially since you got Dimash slapped and Dimashified. Some background here. This is cover song from Vitas, who sing it in a faster tempo and only did two key changes. Vitas' lawyers attempted to block Dimash from singing this, but failed obviously. Dimash as you noticed did 4 key changes. By the way, that was not a falsetto but full blown soprano (or counter tenor). Going forward, Dimash did a movie soundtrack for an Italian movie called The Creators The Past. It is called Across Endless Dimensions. Here is the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5bJeop8nalrl5Y And here is the live version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipevgGRte7h3qNU

love your way, funny but honest to yourselves, first time seeing you. opera 2 was sung (and created?) by Vitas, a famous russian singer. I listened to his version and couldn't believe how flojo and at the same time shrill in higher range, don't want to say more, not to insult him. Dimash#s cover versions are ALL better than the original!! Love from northeren Germany

What a software singer. Autotuned like all his performances. Insiders knows this since years but his "Dears without ears"? Guys, use a monitoring software and you can see, he is loaded with Autotune/Pitch correction! Of course great basics...but why he is using everytime AutoTune? Dont understand this guy!!!🤔
