Brother,how can we learn organic chemistry through anki: like all the structures and stuff like that ,Also can we have a add on that can create cloze deletion for chemical equations.(organic and inorganic) Also can we create a note type in which we can use graphic deletion ,cloze deletion, type in answer simultaneously in one note type. I tried to follow the steps to make a note by using IO one by one but on clicking the closet option (the small box in a box icon) it doesnt do any thing and i am unable to occlude anything. Please give some suggestions so i may know what i am doing wrong.

HOW TO MAKE A ONE BY ONE CARD @09:00 was the fact that I needed. Just add any text into the One-by-one field. This may be explain somewhere else but this is the first place I found it. These note card types and explanations are so powerful. Thank you for your time and effort. The title of King just doesn't seem good enought for your valiant effort.

Question:how can I take effective notes in class if I then use Anki? I study Medicine in Padua, Italy, and here we do not have recorded notes, just power points and a transcription of lectures that we made from audio recordings (one lesson each of us, so everyone need to do it like once a month). I usually go to classes, then get home and start making cards from the transcription (word document). I’ve been wondering for so much time if there is an intelligent way to take notes in class to make cards faster. Few months ago I discovered a website that converts Notion toggle list to basic front-back Anki flash cards, but then I started using cloze and image occlusion.. so it was not very convenient anymore. Now I go to class and just write the question about what teachers are explaining, so when I get home I need only to write the answer in whatever card type I want, but still take so much time. Wish there were official medicine decks in Italian. Do you have some tips for effective note-taking using Anki? Would be great.

Hmmm... Thank you as always anking I am trying to change the selected image occlusion color (red in default) (not the default occlusion color) as I am using a single card and all of the occlusions turn red, it would be great to know how to do that.

Great work man! Do any of the note types you've added today support a sort of cloze overlapping function? Cloze one by one would be much more amazing if each cloze revealed was a card on its own. So if I got the first 3 clozes right, but the 4th one wrong, I don't want to hit again on this card just because of one cloze that I didn't get right...but I would have to. If that 4th cloze could be made into a card on its own that would be awesome!

At the moment no. Because there is a cloze overlapper add-on already out there we didn't attempt to do this

You are so amazing for doing all of this for us! Quick question, the one-by-one cloze feature is only available on the "Cloze-one-by-one" note type correct? It's not added as a part of your "AnKingMaster-v3" note type? I was hoping it was so I could keep all my cards one note type. If not that's fine, I would just need to re-add any fields I wanted to that "Cloze-one-by-one" note type then, right? (like "sketchy", "first aid", etc)

The new note types have cloze - one by one in every note type. There’s no longer a “cloze one by one” or “ankingmasterv3” note type. I created a new “ankingoverhaul” note type

Long-time anking user! Helped me crush step 1 and 2 and match into residency. Deleted my anki and now redownloaded for step 3 and am having difficulty getting the one by one settings back in order. In the video, it mentions putting any text in the one by one field to activate it. Is there a way to make that the default without having to do it manually for each card? Making my own cards for step 3 and it has been cumbersome to add it individually every time. Thanks!

When flipping to back automatically in a deck that only has cloze one-by-one cards, I can't see how many cards I have that are new, learning, review, etc. Is there a way to circumvent this problem?

Unfortunately not really.. you could make the tag text smaller or just turn the tags off

HUGE question! How can you hide the extra section of the card until all the cloze 1 by 1s have been answered? My extra sections are giving away the answers to the clozes before I can get them all answered!!!!

This is unfortunately not something that's possible at the moment unless you want to turn the extra field itself into a hint field. You could find {{Extra}} and change to {{hint:Extra}} if you wanted on the back template

At the top of the styling you can turn the tags off! Or with the add-on you can turn off the tags container!
