Franchise is still so much wasted potential it could be such a good game mode but player regression is all over the place, a sport like baseball HOF and all star players should hold ratings well into their mid 30s I’ve been having players like Juan Soto Eury Perez regress before they even hit 30. Scouting is a pain in the ass to do having to set it every week. CPU STILL CHANGES MY ROSTERS AND LINEUPS THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM FOR YEARS. I’m also having budget issues which I do not understand

If you haven't bought the show for more then 4 or so years, yeah it probably is worth a pick up. If you've played any iteration of the show since 21 then don't bother, it's legitimately the exact same

@@juliomendez102 definitely don't bother buying 24 then, if you want roster updates you can just download them from the vault. Cause that's the only difference, and even then the 24 official roster doesn't have a lot of farm players so youll still need to download a roster from the vault to fix it. Save the money my friend

I’m actually working on a new roster based on analytics and overall statistics so each staff feels meaningful as well as doing detailed, prospects, realistic potential

First thing I’d do is ship off rendon and trout unload their contracts and get some young talent to build around. FYI always target position players early in drafts bc pitching can be bad later

It bugs me that the game favors strikeouts over nearly everything when it comes to cy young winners. Logan Webb got robbed that 1st season. Had a sub 2.50 ERA with 200 innings and 180 ks but Strider wins with an ERA a whole point higher because he's got 200+ strikeouts.

Wins and losses while not as important today, I still use as a barometer point along with run support, W.H.I.P, a litany of stats and factors. I respect analytics but also feel you can't see the trees for the forest with some of the granular detail and mathematical assumptions. All used in moderation helps me to evaluate a player from my perspective.
