I think your paint looks chunky. First I thought it was that you weren't sending your paint enough but after seeing those paint pots I think your paint is just clumpy

No, it's definitely the Primer. When I was a kid I used rustoleum because I didn't want to spend money. It makes the entire model look like a rust bucket.

No it's just not thinned down. I've used and it doesn't affect the paint. Also primer should be speckled on not full coverage as it holds the paint way better. The base coat is for the color, no the primer... GW just splashes their primers everywhere cause it's slightly quicker but you pay for it and it doesn't look as good as the base paint. So short story if you a lazy painter your models will show it.

If the paint is thin then how is primer going to make it thick? Please educate me otherwise stop talking shit.

Ah it's cause he uses liquitex which creates a marbled effect. Sorry otter but you are just wrong but good try.

Ok for all the people who are questioning why his paint looks "grainy"bits because he is using liquitex. The product is made to make a "marbled" effect much like a grainy texture. No it's not the primer just because it's cheap and no it's not the paints, I'm sure the guy knows what poor texture paint looks like.
