Great tutorial. quick question though, why use the light grey primer instead of black? as you started by applying a dark colour. thanks :D

It didn't matter at the end. sometimes I just use whatever primer I like unless it's absolutely necessary starting with one or the other. Typically you do a light primer if you are going for a bright color scheme and black if you're doing a dark color scheme. I knew that green doesn't cover very well and I didn't want any of the black to influence the green colors on top and make them darker. Grey is a mid point but the surface primer looks almost white.

Why dont you prime the miniature in green? Vallejo has green primer. As far as I see it, spraying the miniature black, then green would be much faster.

The colour is UK Bronze Green (70.607), I have it and would like to make a video with it, but I have no idea how to film painting/airbrushing miniatures.

LOL no. I guess after assembling so many some of them just land in the same pose. not a fan of striping models. it's a lot of work
