Only reason they started the whole diff chips on pro and normal was in 2020 when the chip shortage happened. No reason to keep it that way. Always been the same chip in both phones the whole time except last 3 years or so. Made sense in a chip shortage but wi A.I. makes more sense to go back to the way it always has been.

My thoughts are that Apple needs to get more creative like in the Steve Jobs way. Apple used to be innovative but not lately. I am so bored with them. I am not interested in any of the new products. I am tired of waiting for the huge update to iOS. I feel like it’s been talked about far too long. If something doesn’t change I feel like Apple will not be as popular as it’s been.

So a few things. Apple is overdue for an iPad event. The USBC Law requires all apple to have all USBC devices being sold by apple by the end of the year. So I keep seeing SE4 in 2025, but that means the SE3 will be pulled this year just like the Ipad 9 has been pulled from Apple producing and selling it. I think the SE4 will more than likely pop up this month or oct,nov event.

Android with innovation is annihilating apple this year with phones like honor magic v2 porsche edition and V3, s25 ultra, fold 6 special edition, I haven't had Apple in years and android offers more value. Apple charges you 900 for less smaller battery and 60 hz which android never does

S25 ultra? Looks just like every ultra going back to when they were still called Notes. I tried out a s23ultra for a while, but hated the lag on the camera and annoying square corners. Ultimately, not enough of an upgrade to justify the price for my uses. Battery size doesn’t tell the whole story, my iPhone has always lasted at least as long as my android phone. Usually longer. 13 pro max vs s22+ and a short time with a s23 ultra.

@@morm2173 I’m sticking with apple for my primary phone these days. I won’t give up the full Face ID feature. My main point was that the Samsung phones (visually) have changed very little in the past ~5+ years, very similar to iPhones. I’m not really sure what everyone (usually fans of the other OS) is expecting every year when they complain about phone manufacturers not “innovating”. There’s only so much that can be done to a phone before it becomes a tablet, laptop or just stops being useable as a phone. Also, zero interest in Chinese (honor, oppo, etc…) or fold/flip phones.
