Lancelot’s death was, in my opinion, the most gruesome. You see him struggling to keep the blade away. You hear him give Steve a small speech before the blade sinks into him. You don’t see it but you HEAR it. The wet sound. *shivers* To bad we couldn’t have it on screen

The worst thing they did to this series is have him go back in time and give Toby the amulet. In the original series we are told over and over "the amulet does not make mistakes" then Jim gets vision of what would happen if he didn't get the amulet. That ending undermines their own lore. There is no way Toby could accomplish what Jim did

I just watched the final movie, honestly... they should have ended it with Toby's death. The whole time travel thing was really...bad. And allowing Toby to become the hunter? No- I liked Toby, but not enough for it to be rewritten in his story. Still, the deaths were emotional and I even teared up on Toby's goodbye, until they just redid everything over again.

I was really sad because I was very sad that such a great series ended like this. I have always looked at TrollHunters with the heart of one of the best series. Even though three below and the wizards were a little more in the background, they were still very good series. But in the last movie, I think they were silly. They killed too many people And it was ridiculous. Come on, I understand nomura and others but STRICKLER!?Did they really think they could kill the titan written in the legends in the books with a grenade? Besides, all the old things we watched don't matter by taking the time to the top, right? Okay, Tales of Arcadia was a masterpiece, I just don’t dig the ending. I’m glad everyone gets to live but now that bad future that happens when Jim doesn’t get the amulet is going to happen. He should have gotten the amulet reunited everyone (over the course of months and redeeming changelings of course) gathered them all, then it would end with him saying “I have got a story to tell you…” Or something like that.

I think that Jim should have accepted the trollhunting mantle again, but in my ending I had Jim go through the entire series again as the Trollhunter, but he knows how to prevent everyone from dieing. the original amulet was never destroyed and Toby is the wilder of Excalibur. tell me what you think. I was thinking, Draal was originally trying to kill Jim in the first few episodes of Part One, and he's taken control by Gunmar mid-way of Part Two. Wouldn't you then (In a sense of things) count him as one of these bad guys who joined the good guys?

Draal was jealous of Jim. And he was angry that he spent so much time trying to be the next Trollhunter and some human kid got picked instead. Having bad emotions and doing petty things doesn’t make someone a bad guy. Not giving a damn who gets hurt while getting what they want makes someone a bad guy. Draal also spent 95% of the time by Jim’s side and he wouldn’t have hurt anyone else to kill Jim so no.
