It's not the idea that the male is the one to conceive or give birth, its weird considering whether or not hes dating an alien Steve is still a human. Tbf it's clearly played for jokes which is fine but the logistics of it is weird to think about. Yes it's more likely that aliens wouldn't reproduce the same as is but it's even more likely that they wouldnt be able to reproduce with humans anyways. So I can see why people kinda get weirded out by it if they ponder on it for too long, which you might end up doing if you don't find the scenes funny, where the main joke is "boy is pregnant." My personal problem with it is I feel like it was rushed and they should've cut some of the scenes or concepts to make room for story and the steve pregnancy plotline could've been one of them. Especially considering imo it wasn't that funny anyways.

Feelings and opinions: I was very excited for the movie but it was unexpectedly disappointing I mean Steve who represents the masculine and narcissistic character in the series gets pregnant and acts like a woman I mean really? He was the only reason I completed watching the series after Jim Lake Jr. Then comes the role of the main character (supposedly) Jim Lake Jr. and we see that he was forgotten after the legendary trilogy of Arcadia, 3 Below, and The Wizards and finally the movie, Jim was very weak and hesitant because he did not have an amulet, I mean we all know that he is a troll hunter without the amulet and we saw that in the trilogy and how he embodied the role of the hero and how he went to the Dark Lands alone to fight Gunmar, in addition to the strange and illogical acceleration of events and the death of characters, as if they wanted to end the series quickly, and let's not forget Netflix's ideologies in spreading perverted ideas, and finally Toby's death and then going back in time, not only that but Toby is the new troll hunter? Really? Toby is a great character but he's more suited as a sidekick to the main character, sorry but the ending was sooo disappointing, I finished the Wizards and watched the movie the same day, but it wasn't worth it everything was gone, the real troll hunter for me is just James Lake Jr, Claire and Toby, Steve and Pepperjack, Blinky and Ugggg, all of their stories end for me in the Arcadia trilogy.

I definitely wanted Staja in 'the movie'. Not all comical like Steve getting pregnant or something. Steve went from a jerk bully to an amazing Knight who will protect the ones he loves without hesitation. I wanted more mature Steve in the movie. Show the TOA fans how much he's grown. (Though I'm not really saying that Steve should have picked Excallibur from the stone. I can't imagine Steve welding it. I prefer Excalibur Jim.) I wanted a scene where Aja and Steve fighting the bad guys together side by side. Not a scene where Steve gets pregnant ( it was really funny though) Steve getting pregnant was like ignoring all the maturity he's went through in Trollhunters, 3 Below, and especially Wizards. This was my favorite series till the end pissed me off. If anyone haven't wwatch theres a link series called TrollHunters which is the main series while this one was a side story of something going on while the main characters were gone traveling. At the end of the main series of Trollhunter the MC friend died and he selfishly went back in time before he became the Troll Hunter giving his friend the role of Troll Hunter just so he can live a normal life and if you think about it he practically RUIN THIS BEAUTIFUL FAMILY THAT HAPPEN AND NO LONGER EXISTED!!!

Yeah I would’ve loved to see there family grow up if they continued the series with another route, like instead of Tobey dying he could’ve became paralyzed the waste down and we could’ve seen a new season of tales of Arcadia and see what happens to Steve and Aja’s family yet they decided to go flash point and started a alternate timeline
