I think he could have just come back and apologized, he did this in 2017 when he was being unfaithful and a sleazebag to his wife. If he said "I apologize that was messed up of me that's not who I am anymore" that would have been it, ideally. It would have minimized most of the damage, but the way he's going about it makes it so much worse. Like the only reason people knew about the infidelity was because on a stream he showed up out of character, no wig, no sunglasses and apologizes for what he did and said he was taking some time off. He could have done that for this situation, especially because we already know how he was in 2017.

I really do believe he thinks he exists on a different plane of existence than all of us. For example, when he said he edited the tweet on purpose to remove the word "minor" to see if people fell for it and ran with the story....as if we are all too stupid to see the 5D chess moves he is making.
