This is a great movie,Yesterday was Christmas,myfamily sat around the table talking how thankful we were God had blessed this year. My daughter had a major stroke last January, she's recovered most abilities, but her right hand and speach very slow, she's 46.she took an angel flight then, the year before her partner had a major heart attack, just 6 months before that,he too took an angel flight,and a year and a half ago I took the same flight after my kidneys failed. 6 of us in the room 3 angel flights and we were all thankful for the pilots,nurses and emts, but God deserves all the credit! We had a very thankful Christmas, BUT last summer we had a bad storm in Alaska an an angel flight went down with the patient, all 5 perished. It broke our hearts. God bless all who put thier lives on the line, bless you all this Glorious season, may God grant us 2023 a God year

Being diabetic we eat very little meat except fish because we have natural fish out the back door, cutting back on all carbs and the rest is veggies, but we all have auto immune issues, I have Lupus R.A. diabetes and high blood pressure. Most of my problems are from what my mother did during her pregnancy. The dr.xrayed my mother every week. I shouldn't be here. My ex same boat. Didn't realize we could pass on most of our health problems. My daughters health problems came from smoking, which she quit cold the day of her stroke. We actually eat better then most,but being on 17 different meds doesn't help at all. And we are all working on lots of out doir activities minus snow shoveling. Thank you all for the positive thoughts

Toward the end of WW2, my father survived his ninth serious bomber aircrash. The only other survivor was the pilot. They lost touch after the war, until Snowy appeared on 'What's My Line?' I was seven or eight at the time. He was flying mercy flights in Australia. My father was able to make contact through the BBC...then we heard that Snowy had been killed on a mercy flight...True angels.

No, it was the resourcefulness of the doctor and the others, looking after the girl, exposing the colours of the plane to show up in the snow. Then off to hospital- not church- for the girl to be fixed up, with dedicated pilots. Relying on any god who according to your logic created the situation in the first place, is not going to achieve anything. Give credit for the human skills- or acknowledge the failings of your god when things go wrong.

The tale of two lovely young mentally handicapped people who seek to make a happy life together and of course with , deserved support . It’s such a lovely movie/ story , so please enable people to support it , for those others too in real life today , through the comments section. I’m old now and when I was young , I saw how the mentally handicapped were treated , dismissed and laughed at . It was heart breaking . People had no idea no understanding and failed to see the honesty , gentleness and if I may say , the purity of uncontaminated soul .So please do let support be known for really lovely , gentle people who , in my opinion, are so pure in soul . We can and do learn so much from them . Thank you.

Firstly the Jews and Palestinians worship different gods. The Jews worship the only God in the universe, which is the God of Abraham Issac and Jacob who reveals himself in the holy bible. Where as the Palestinians worship a false god. Secondly we all die, that's a fact you can take to the bank !!! And how God decides to end your life as it must end is his business. We may not understand this but it's a fact that before we are even born our fate is sealed by God to suit his purposes not ours. And the Jews who sadly died in Germany, well had they not died Israel would never have been reborn in their God given land, never to be removed from that land ever again.

It wasn't a good movie. The dialogue was extremely superficial and it was basically full of lies.The real paramedic is on record as objecting to how he was portrayed in this movie. His entire career is focussed on saving lives, and putting himself at risk to do so, and the movie turned him into a wimp. There was also no friction between him and the preacher so that's a lie too. You'd also never have a nurse claiming she won't let the child die repeatedly, they would NEVER say that. Shameful and insulting to the people who lived this experience.

The friction between himself and the preacher was non existent and that the dialogue misrepresented them. From what I understand Brad died at the age of 53 and was highly regarded in his community.

It was actually pretty bad. It was very superficial and almost no worthy dialogue. They changed the characters, and made the paramedic out as a wimp. The real paramedic is on record as being disappointed that he, a man who puts himself at risk to save people, was turned into a whiny wimp in this movie. You'd never have a nurse claiming she won't let the child die repeatedly, they would NEVER say that.

A good movie, showing the resourcefulness and skill of the people caught in a dire situation, and having to use their heads and training to pull through. The snow scenes are quite convincing enough for me. Also a good lesson on checking the emergency gear and thinking about other equipment which is light and useful on hazardous flights- like flares and coloured smoke. as well as the colour of the plane when likely to be operating in snowy conditions.

and warmer blankets, they should have been wearing boots in climates like that (I live in 6-8 months of winter and it can get down to -55C or even colder some times, and you wear good boots, have good gloves, heavy coats (not like the paramedic), and I have warmer emergency equipment in my car than they did on the flight! As well as emergency food supply even if its only protein bars or something

In my part of New Zealand we have had settling snow every 40 years or so, occasional frosts, but the temperature can drop very quickly, and dressing for the worst - and watching the weather forecast - is essential. Driving rain and 5 degrees when you're only wearing a t-shirt and shorts can be deadly quite quickly. Looks like you know how to survive severe cold- these people could have done with some good advice! Cheers.

It's all down to being well trained and resourceful, and having a good rescue service of dedicated pilots- and anticipating "god" with accurate weather forecast to identify the small window for effecting the rescue. Didn't see god anywhere in this movie- just people making the best out of a bad situation, and getting through it.

At the end with the credits it noted that although not associated with Anegl Flights, there are so many men and women who risk their own lives daily to save others in the worst of conditions. Proving again as this movie did that God with the human spirit of survival will always be tested. Actually....other producers could take a lesson from this films producer. Some of it is quite realistic... It's a good film... acting in relation to their problems.. Cold is a hard thing to control...once it gets into your system...it stays and moral lowers.. So many loose it for not making a fire... it's a moral booster.. All about life and it's values.

FAA and NTSB rules say you must check the ELT at specific intervals. Also the pilot should have made sure it was working B4 taking off in those conditions. Also he should have had flares on board. They didn't cover any of this in the movie:( I flew small planes for 20 years.

That was great that when that little girl closed her eyes she looked like a doll sleeping as if she was dead, the viewer really couldn’t tell, as her cheeks weren’t always pink, most times it was really pale or ashen like a dead person. So glad I live far away fr the snow!! Tragic how many casualties there are in the snow.
