@@joycebrackbill-henderly8311 Born 1958. I don’t know of one person who was born around our age that doesn’t miss those great years. No matter what country we come from, I’m Australian, we all miss those years so much. Life was so much better back then, kids actually played outdoors, found something to do by using their imagination besides sitting indoors. We could walk the 30 minutes to school without fear of someone trying to kidnap us. And we all did walk to school unlike now. I drive past a school of an afternoon, there are cars everywhere, in every street with parents waiting at the school gates to pick their kids up. We had the best movies, best tv shows, best music and singers. TV shows like Lost in space, Gilligans island, Bewitched, I dream of Jeanie, The Partridge Family, The Munsters, Adam’s Family, wow, so many more, we had a huge variety…… and now, there’s very little to watch. Actually, my tv antenna fell off the roof several years ago, I never got it fixed because of the garbage on tv, so many of those stupid reality shows and way too many really long commercial breaks. If I want to watch something now, I stream everything through Google Chromecast. Like this movie, it’s being streamed from the computer, through Chromecast. Ok, I’ve had my whinge, lol, I’ll put the soapbox back under the table now.

Do you know Cat, whenever there is a movie where they all get letters inviting them to a place then killed one by one, people (not just you) say "it's like Agatha Christie" because of the book/film you mentioned, but actually even Agatha Christie copied the idea. About 10 years before she wrote that there was a movie in black and white where they all get letters and once inside the gates are electrified. Not sure of the title but they die on the hour every hour which sounds impossible until you see how they go about it. Glad you enjoyed the show. So did I. Wow me too! Except I was 2 years younger than you John but yes in 1974. This movie was on tv the night when I was a kid, and reminds me of when I was a little boy. I walked in on my parents having sex when I was 11. At the time I didn’t know I was jut a kid. mommy was on her hands and knees pretending she was a horsey and daddy was riding her from behind pretending he was a jockey . But what I didn’t get was, why they were naked? So at Sunday school the following Sunday I told Mother Maria my Sunday school teacher the game mommy and daddy were playing and I asked why they had no clothes on? She had no idea either!🤔

@@amywhite9972 I really hadn’t heard of them. You probably hit the nail on the head as to why. I actually did not like either of those shows much and didn’t watch them. Were they in them? I don’t always go for popular stuff. I have never watched the Simpsons, for example, as I find them very ugly! Lol 😂. Perhaps another reason why is that I am not into celebrities. To me actors are just people doing a particular job. If they do it well then they can make a lot of money. They also tend to have the morals of alley cats! Not all of them but perhaps most. As to why anyone would listen to their opinions regarding endorsements of presidential candidates totally escapes me! Great chatting to you. Good night.

The story goes that while the actor was finishing up his old man make-up, Ricardo Montalban came into the make-up room for another film and started talking to him as if he were a stranger, when in fact they had known each other for 25 years. The "old man" was trying out his ruse by staying in character, and he fooled his old friend. He finally fessed up to who he was.
