I carry my Springfield operator every day because I live in 🇺🇸 MERICA. Did my own magwell profiling and front strap checkering. I had it cerakoted for better sweat resistance and replaced some of the parts with Wilson combat goodies. 8 round WC and CMC mags and Federal HSTs. I love her and we spend all our time together.

Underrated pistol in my opinion. If I was to buy a 1911, it would be this one.

I own a Dan Wesson valor, upgrade the grips with VZ grips , I am sure What you are holding in your hand is nicer . LV knows his stuff .. thanks for sharing it .

I’d strongly consider one if the rear sight actually fit. Ruins the gun hanging off the back like that

That’s an effective old-school rear sight, which you would appreciate if you started shooting 1911s in the 1970s
