Greeting nice to see you Saw you on Lilidahl, watched other vlogs of yours, enthusiastic about your techniques. Hope to watch more of your step by step landscapes to follow along with you to learn. I have been watching a few vlogs off and on for over a year now but still haven’t gotten started. I don’t know what its going to take for me to try again. Hope to watch you again soon.

Thank you for this video. Can you share what brands of these 8 colors you use?
@Group_of__2 жыл бұрын
Do you use a certain paint brand like Rembrandt?

Great video! Thanks! One question…what is that first color again? I don’t have it. Is it similar to any other colors like Alizarin Crimson?
@theartfulsouls45292 жыл бұрын
It's Permanent madder Deep by Rembrandt.. similar to alizarin crimson...

What painting medium(s) do you use?
@muhlenstedt2 жыл бұрын
Please, could you tell me which permanent madder deep you recommend? Maimeri has one but I was confused because they put the word alizarin between permanent and madder. Also other Thank you a lot.

I’ve been waiting to ask this question of artists who leave old oil paint on their pallets. Why don’t you clean it all off? I’ve noticed that fresh paint will dry out faster if you put it on old, dried paint. What is the advantage of this?
@theartfulsouls45292 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Great question! I think it comes from just painting a lot and using lots of paint. I can remove the skin from the dried piles of paint and often reuse paint That's underneath... it's also a lot easier than trying to completely clean the pallet off every time I paint

Your pallete is dirty.

I like it to be a little dirty. The best approach is the one that works best for you.
