Am I the only one who feels like the outro has this “you got the bad ending” vibe to it? Combined with the cinematography, it just gives off this really sinister and malevolent vibe, that gives you the sense that evil has prevailed and the worst has yet to come. Either or, amazing track and the video complimented it beautifully! Ironically captures what I envisioned this song portraying with shocking accuracy! 😁

Man Stevie has such stage presence. He's not at all an intimidating looking guy and he's super nice but when he picks up that mic he channels something.... They've got fans all over .. just not a huge number in any one area. I feel like they could play a show literally anywhere on earth and at least get a dozen people to show up. Not every band can say that

But I think their music just is too niche to really have huge mass appeal. They definitely appeal to other musicians. My 13 year old daughter said "ngl inferi go hard af" on her phone to me when I took her to the show with me.... But people who are into deathcore it's not gonna have those face bending breakdowns. There's not a ton of brutal chugging for the death metal heads. They construct songs kind of like classical music. If I had to guess their biggest audience are people who like both metal and classical music. I mean their approach to song structure just reminds me so much more of say a baroque composer then it does popular rock music

Great description! I mentioned in another comment that the outro has this sort of "you got the bad ending" vibe, as if the main protagonist were giving into darkness and you're watching them slowly turn demonic as the music fades out.

Definitely one of the best songs on Vile Genesis. Between the lightning fast sweeping intro (0:23), the cool melodic bridges (3:37 & 4:46). the haunting fade-out outro (5:54) and the two solos (2:29 & 4:12) it has a lot of cool moments.
