That original version of Still I Rise is one of the greatest songs ever recorded. Pac verse is incredible. Fatal and Kadafi killed it. They should have never changed that song

The story about Fatal crashing 2Pac's car was well known (probably circa the 10th of June because after that he was not with the group for One Nation/Makaveli recordings... but Noble forgot he recorded at least 3 songs with 2Pac in mid August (As The World Turns/Black Jesus/Runnin On E). The chain and the Rolex thing waah, same thing, totally new to me !

I just realized Noble is the only Outlaw that didn't have a dictator name (Hussein, Kadafi, etc). Hearing him speak shows how much he earns that name. Solid dude 👌🏾
@JujuxNavis
@JujuxNavis Ай бұрын
The dictator names were given at the time of All Eyez on Me (late 95, in "When We Ride"), especially for the Thug Life Volume II project which was supposed to be released right after All Eyez on Me (but finally dropped because Mopreme was kicked off by Suge men). Daz Dillinger and Kurut Young Gotti were part of the project. Even Storm and Danny Boy had nicknames (Mabavek (??) & Baby Face). Young Noble started to record with the group 6 months later for One Nation... At that time, the dictator nicknames were less used.

I really believe Pac would've let Fatal keep his jewelry anyways. Since He was already giving all his Outlaw partners gifts for their loyalty and respect and love and brotherhood. 💯 "I ain't mad at cha" - 2Pac ✊🏾❤️👑 🕊️

Like Noble said he let them wear the jewelry that night when they went to the MTV awards but he didn't give it to them. The bracelet he gave Napalean he gave it back cuz Pac had it on 2 days later on the Toss it Up video the day before he was shot which was the Rolex bracelet.

Fatal and Khadafi been rhyming with Pac since Me Against the World. They were the best MCs out of the Outlawz. Pac's verse on Still I Rise is one of the best verses ever. Pac definitely died in his prime🙏🏾💯

What a great breakdown. I had wondered what was going down during that 98/99 times with rap a lot n death row. On one hand i was waiting for retribution to drop, then they popped up on that geto boys album and there was coming soon from them on rap a lot...

Real loyalty. if the whole crew would refuse to be on still i rise, the label would keep Fatal on them tracks. But i guess they were not really a group they were put on the team by 2pac.

Respect to Noble for this. The other Outlawz members would have never told the story raw like this and would have just called out everyone else Pac had issues with as usual. Respect.

Great in-depth, but Mutah and more people was saying before the shooting that pac& yaki was calling fatal before the Vegas trip and he wasn’t returning the calls . He had the chain & watch then, so whatever reason he was ducking pac & the outlaws, but pac was definitely trying to holler at Fatal after they went back with no avail….. Fatal was young & wild Real street dude, but that was cruddy & petty…. PAC & DEATHROW was the biggest thing at the time
