Diddy obviously lied to him about a lot of things yet he speaks on things from the book so matter of factly that he just can't. Diddy was much more transparent with Kim about things than with Gene because he knew fear and "love" and lifestyle and thats the father of my children would keep her in line more than anything he had on Gene. He just let Gene believe he was the man so he could cash in on his gullibility of wanting to be a loyal protector. For example I believe there are agreements Gene made with Diddy and the gang on things they would never tell and he intends to them to the grave with him because he wants to be a person of his word. Yet some of those things he doesnt know the full story behind, but Kim and others do; and since he didnt hurt Gene as much as he hurt Kim, Gene is not as motivated to tell all the ugly truth as Kim was when she decided to. Gene only saw a little compared to the whole 30 yrs Kim saw as his bottom and main confidant.
