"You can't expect the next man to handle your business" was the lesson he needed to learn. So many artists learn the hard way that it's called the record business with emphasis on BUSINESS. If you want your paper (money) to be right, make sure that paper (contract) is right.

I'm from Dayton, Ohio. My father knew Roger and Larry Troutman. Nobody liked Larry Troutman because they all said he was a dickhead if u asked around Dayton so he probably deserved it! I remember them coming in the alley in a limo where my dad fixed cars when I was a little boy, and my dad telling us after they left later that he didn't like Larry because he was rude. They also adopted one of my aunts who was in a orphanage growing up and she said she didn't like Larry but loved Roger Troutman who would make sure she had a good Christmas every Christmas in the orphanage.

Dr Dre has ALWAYS said he was never about the Thug Life, after his run in with Law Enforcement he wanted to be away from that, he learned from his NWA days and his own car chase that its a losing battle in the long run. I don't fault him for that.

He actually participated in setting Eazy E up at the hotel where Suges guys met him instead. Dre also broke a mans jaw in a studio, attacked a police officer and stabbed someone in a scuffle all in the early days of Death Row. Dre doesn't bring up these incidents much but he was also shot. The NWA movie shown none of this but the part where Dre punches somebody did happen

I'm sure I heard snoop dogg body guard say dre was told by the deathrow legal team not to attend court during snoop trial. Also for someone who thought they could produce music it's laughable what happened with Rogers tracks. Suge knight new nothing about music but moved dre out of the label. No way was deathrow going to survive

Good interview , But how he know that Pac didn't know how Dre get/got down. Just because you didn't see nothing doesn't mean the next man didn't see anything . Plus when Pac dissed dre calling him out it didn't sound/seem forced like he was being instructed to say dre gay lol.

@@TommieGun71 You don't have to hang with somebody to know something that the next man who you maybe cool with might not know. Fat Joe wasn't close to Pac like that but said every time he seen Pac he was into something, Melle Mel who has been in the studio with pac said he didn't see Pac acting wild around him Just like Suge , Pac etc didn't know Danny Boy was gay back in the day

Don’t forget, Pac was a trained and seasoned actor. Which means he had the skillset to say and do things without it seeming forced.

The people that made him, without them Dr Dre wouldn’t be as memorable, hell he’s never been a dope artist on his own he’s always had to have others carry him (NWA, Snoop, Em, 2pac etc)
