Gene Deals' statements of events during all his interviews are consistent over the years. I believe that puffy ran scared the night biggie was assassinated. Puffy left LA and didn't make the initial call to Ms. Wallace. He may have thought he was a target as well. Biggie had no business in LA nor at the vibe party. There was too much animosity and tension between rappers at that time. Bad boy's presence in the area was not a good choice. Puffy can say they were young. However, they were far from being dumb stupid, and slow. I'm now understanding his mental health struggles and his sadness as well as losses in the last years. RIP BIG. He and Tupac will be never forgotten. We will keep their memories alive for years to come.

Well, I think Gene has some important memories that provide some clues about what was going on that night when Biggie was shot. It's very suspicious that Tupac's fiance invited Puffy to the Vibe party and that Diddy insisted that Biggie go to the party. And then it's very strange that Derock agreed with Gene that Biggie shouldn't go to the party, but then Derock completely changed his mind about that after he spent a little time with Diddy. And then the rest of that day Biggie and Derock never showed up to be with Puffy even though he called them repeatedly, and the next day Gene was with Biggie in a Winnebago the entire day until it was time to shoot the Hypnotize video, while Derock was gone the entire day with Puff. What I would like to know is if Diddy and Derock went to the party where Biggie was killed after all that. It sounds like after Kidada Jones invited Diddy to the party, he insisted that Biggie show up to the party, but in the meantime he never actually had contact with him again, even though he made a big show of trying to be with him. I personally think it might have just been a show. Why on Earth would he want Biggie to go to the party, and what a coincidence that he wasn't hanging out with Biggie anymore after that. I wouldn't doubt that Kidada Jones was secretly in some kind of agreement with Diddy and was in the loop of people who were working together to murder both Tupac and Biggie. She sure was present when they were both shot.
