Anyone questioning Ed Lover in any way shape or form is forgetting one crucial thing - he actually KNEW 2PAC... Nobody speaking here in this comment section (myself included) knew that man. I'll even go as far to say that most commenting weren't even born when 2Pac was at his height. Ed is uniquely positioned because he RAN with 2Pac and was friends with him. Furthermore, anyone questioning Ed's validity on a street level or a fame level at that time was definitely born in the 2000s... Yo MTV Raps was the mecca and Ed was one of it's main VJs. He was a personality - he was famous before 2Pac! On the street side - Ed Lover ran around those NY streets, had a knowledge of all the heavy hitters and while he wasn't a gangster he was very much of his neighbourhood. 2Pac was a set hopper and a prolific one at that - constantly checking in with different tough guys in different regions, looking for a father figure. "Switched sides, guess his new friends wanted him dead" could be an autobiography on Pac himself - "Where you from anyway? LA? Oakland? Hoboken?" (CHINO XL)... But some would just say he was a diplomat of the streets. Not so much. 2Pac's life was an art installation called THUG LIFE.

At the very least, he did not react to the shooter pulling out on Pac while he was behind the shooter when he went straight to the floor before the shooter even told them to get down, according to Pac. Then it’s been confirmed that Stretch started relaying messages from the guy who actually set up the robbery, Jimmy Henchman. It’s also been said that Stretch tried to get at one of Pacs girls while he was locked up, by the girl herself. It’s totally understandable why Pac didn’t go to dudes funeral.
