I bought a couple coils from you at Vaperslam in Charlotte, you were very helpful at explaining the difference to me between the staple coils and the framed staple coils and I'm loving them! You were honestly the coolest guy I talked to at the whole convention. Thanks again

Just wanted to thank you for everything you have contributed to our community.i don't think you get near enough recognition.a vast majority of the coils we make was something you designed or helped design lol.we wouldn't be where we are today without your mind hard at work making these beast coils and techniques

I have found using a piece of 1/4 in pex tubing for taming the flying ends. Works on staples and stagger staples. I found that even when I have it all taped up. Keeps it all from flailing around.

for the new people who wants to try this out i just wanna say that this build is all good for cloud chasing and competitions not for daily use (in my opinion) cause it burns the cotton so fast no matter how you wick

Great as usual. those fine wires wouldn't break if you use small swivels Ryan, but definitely they would when using the same size of swivels you normally use with thick ones. simply because thin wire would twist rather than getting a large-sized swivel to spin. and that what happened with me. I used small swivels then and it worked well.
@uubuer9889 Жыл бұрын
absolute beauty of a coil, i used to watch alot of these back in the day i always put up a goal post at the end of the table so the core couldnt fall off the side, just the few times i did a more than 5ft order. but tbh idk why you would put the core on a swivel and just keep the drill static, moving only your hands holding and guiding the clapton micro wire

great video your way of freehanding is great, i personally tape my thump and index finder and squeeze the wire so i can ensure i don't back wrap because using a swivel with such thin wire its easy to back wrap and easy to snap the core wire. plus when i do really long pieces once i get about halfway on a 2-3 ft piece of wire ill pick up the drill and stretch both my arms apart so i always have complete control

awesome job doode. i leaenes alot from you. i started wrapping aliens 11 months ago. your vid was the first and only one i needed. within a couple hours i had the technique down and then added the swivel later. i feel my free hand skills helped me to build and not relying on a tool. but i solely use swivels now... but i put my time in before the swivel trick was out. thanks man. you are much to thank for my coils going on the market. greatly appreciated

if you heat the wire before making the coil it will take the spring out of it which will make it easier to make the coil and also help keep it's shape.

If you want to do micro claptons just use a roll with a elastic roll holder. Put the wire theough the hole then put screwdrivers to hold the plastic part away from the roll edges so it doesnt get stuck and then it will literally clapton itself the entire way down. Its perfect for microclaptons that i use for clapceptions and you can make one go across the entire room since you dont have to hold it. Just steady the wire with your hand to keep it from vibrating.
@melody37414 жыл бұрын
Its so much better than the other kinds of auto clapton things because all you need is stuff you already have laying around. I have used allen keys, small screwdrivers, the bars from coil wrappers, etc.
@melody37414 жыл бұрын
And if all you have is a drill and a tool kit then use screwdrivers and hold the end lightly between your fingers and it will still work.
