Just joined today from uk. I've been following your tutorials for a while. I'm certainly a senior citizen and have never had an artistic bone in my body but you've inspired me to have a try, I might not have talent but I have enthusiasm and loads of fun. One day I might produce something I can show you, but in the meantime thank you for your hard work and inspiration.

I'm working my way through the beginner acrylics course and absolutely loving it! Watching this video, I realized why I haven't been very successful with a fan brush up until now -- the fan brush I have is very soft (probably a water color brush) so tomorrow I am going to the art store to pick up a firm fan brush, or perhaps a couple in different sizes! Looking forward to painting this one!

I just had to stop painting so I could comment!! Have you listened to yourself explain how to do the rocks at half the normal playback speed?? I'm giggling so hard, I can barely keep my brush still!! Loving all your tutorials, Cinnamon... you are a real teacher, explaining everything so clearly, not like so many who do a 10 minute "show and tell" (without the "tell" part), and call it a tutorial!

Hi! I found this beginner series just the other day. I started painting as a diversion after I lost my dad in 2020. Then before I knew it- I was “in it”! I watched the video about the color wheel and theory last night. OMGosh. I now know what’s up!, thank you so much! You helped me get HOW to know why my color mixing was wonky! I found the Silver Art Sherpa Fan brush size 6 on amazon...would that be stiff enough for this technique?

What is a dirtz chalk brush

It is a chalk tool, not a brush. It is a cartridge which holds smaller chalk, the chalks comes in different colors, and can be found on Amazon or the sewing section of most craft stores or online 🤎
