Cinnamon, I love to watch you paint. There is no doubt you have a gift for art, but I think an even greater gift you possess is the gift of encouragement. That is such a wonderful thing in today's society! Your shining spirit is such a blessing during your videos. Thank you.

Really enjoyed painting this. DEFINITELY a 2 hoot. Painted it for my art journal that states "Sometimes we need a little light to guide us through life's darkest hours". And "It's the journey, not the destination". I did change the flame, but love that you give us permission to do that.

How you highlighted the smoke? I mean on the basis of where the observer eye is or wherever it felt like?

I am not sure what your question is? Can you elaborate? 💓
@ariasrivastva47782 жыл бұрын
@@TheArtSherpa I want to know in the part where you highlighted the smoke, how you did that? How can I know at what places it is to be highlighted?
@ariasrivastva47782 жыл бұрын
@@TheArtSherpa @theartsherpa as per my understanding we highlight the area where light will fall on the object, so does this technique works in highlighting of the smoke too?? I hope it's clear now as English is not my first language.
@TheArtSherpa2 жыл бұрын
You are doing great I totally understand what you mean. The smoke is visible with light just like the still objects. More then light we see where it is concentrated and dispersed. It also has a form and transparency we want to think on. If you are painting like I did here you can focus on getsure or the flow of the stroke first, areas of thick and thin and then see if you want to tune highlights on the smoke - here is a great free to artists smoke refernce you can use to get a sense of just the smoke pixabay.com/photos/abstract-smoke-background-swirl-69124/
