i eally really enjoyed doing this painting i did it on acrilic paper and it worked out so well the reason ive done this is because ive only been painting for aprox 3 mnths and ive started like a portfolio thingi in a book ...... i can draw but was always scared of paint i saw some of your clips and paint along in real time and also you and john are sooooo fun to work along with wich makes me more comfortable so a massive thankyou ever so much ive been out and bought all the best paints ie golden every colour i could get my hands on and the brushes so my bank balance isnt happy but ....I AM YEYYYYY ....xxxx

Oh my, you have just answered the skull question for me today - Thank You xo I love dia del los Muertos and enjoy painting faces in the sugar skull style. I may do my painting with that in mind. I would love to see quick tutorial videos on how to do basic flowers, like just concentrating on how to do the roses in this painting. I love paintings flowers but they intimidate the heck out of me. Hi theaartsherpa, Ok so I want you to know that this is a compliment really- lol . You are now like whaaat ~ ??? :) First time I encountered your show here on You Tube I was thinking, this lady is cuckoo but I couldn't stop watching you and in short order I was captivated by your odd fun personality,your easily felt love for painting, your desire to share that with others and your warmth. You give all that and you encourage folks to just engage with their creativity, leaving the critical voice out of it. This encouraged me to paint with you. My first one was the sunflower starry night theme. I argued with ya through some of it ( thats right who is cuckoo I am the one arguing with the video clip yep lol) got frustrated it wasn't right wrestle with the letting go, meanwhile you would be saying crazy silly stuff and it would distract me back out of my head and into the experience. I realized I was having fun and had been painting for many hours with total heart felt focus. I don't know what anyone else thought of my final product. But I loved what I painted. I loved it so much I sent it away to a long time internet friend who I have never actually meant but who makes me smile, laugh and think, kinda like you and your show here. So it seemed somehow kismet. So thank you so much for all your fun and for sharing your passion to me that is what life is all about and cuckoo people myself included to me are far more interesting then people just trying to be like everyone else. Allow them to dry and maybe try a more loose rose. This was an early video and I feel I got much better at explaining roses as I have been teaching online longer. I did a few recent rose videos I would watch and then these would be easier,. I guess I am saying its not you it me.
