What amazes me the most is how the "pack" seems to know when you bring a sick or troubled dog home that they need to greet her very gently. That just shows me what an amazing man you are with animals and what heartwarming gift you have. 🤗

Lee...I'm sure you are probably aware, but I wanted to share with you that Jackson Galaxy has a wonderful B-12 supplement that would probably benefit Mildred's back legs, in regenerating the nerves. Very beneficial in my kitty that had neuropathy related to diabetes. Just FYI!😊 Keep up the good work!! God bless you!!!❤

@@SacredArcana I agree. I had a foster dog (boxer staffie mix) who was abandoned at 6 months old and spent the next 18 months in a shelter. He had started self harming so I took him in until they could find a forever home for him. He wasn't anywhere near as bad as Millie, but he was mentally in a bad place. The first day we went on 10 walks just to help with the nervous energy. He was clever and wanted to please though so house training was easy, he messed in the house the first couple of days but regular walks and watching my other dog showed him where and when was appropriate. He was just wild though and it took months to get his commands and routine. Then we realised he was at his forever home. He was just so happy and chilled, and loved everyone and everything. So I adopted him and todays the 5th anniversary of his gotcha day.

Apparently if she had been taken in just one day later she would not have lived, and Lee said they did not even know if she would make it through the night. I believe he gave her the will to live.

Also..I can’t even IMAGINE her when she first came in..they said she actually put on some weight from when she first arrived, and was unable to walk at all!🥺 I woulda thought it physically impossible to be any worse than this alive🤯 So glad she’s gonna have the best life she could of ever imagined, in her forever home now!! Mildred has to be one of my favorite stories. I just love her, and I think she is amazing!! Her face is just so resigned to her fate. If I hadn't seen videos of her since she's been with you, I'd say she didn't have much time at all. Even though she has so many people on her side, just looking at her here in the beginning, is so sad. All these vet techs love Lee so much, and they know she's going to the best place with the most hope for her survival and recovery. Doesn't it seem like Tony brought Mildred to Lee? I sure do.

I have suggested before something like that! he expressed sometimes he gets stuck with ideas for dogs and i said why not do videos of your dogs individually; like a little update/name/ age etc and what they like most and who they like most as in other pack members! doesnt have to be long and thought it would be easy to shoot for him :)

When you first posted about rescuing Millie, my heart ached at the condition she was in. But at the same time I was so happy you took her in. Her precious face looks almost identical to my English Mastiff, Maggie. I guess that's why she touched my heart the way she did. She is looking so much better; putting on weight and moving around so well. Please keep doing periodic updates on her ❤️

My heart broke as well because she reminds me so much of my English mastiff Matilda who passed away three years ago. I’m just over joyed Millie was rescued and will live a happy rest of her life. To think some awful person treated Millie like that breaks my heart. I would do anything to have my Matilda back ❤.

I was already crying at the 0:35 mark. The only way a dog will look like that is if humans failed to feed her for a long time. At the same time I feel angry. Angry to the point of balling my fist. Thank GOD Lee found her in time to save her. She can now get healthy and lead the life she deserves. What a sweety. EDIT: And a special shout out to this medical staff. They showed Milly the love and care she so desperately needed.

Lee is a true inspiration. We just rescued a ten month old pup. He was running scared along a busy highway my wife scooped him up. We quarantined him until we could get him to the vet. All of our local shelters were full. So we got his fleas, ticks, roundworms, and hookworms taken care of. Luckily he was parvo negative. Now he's gaining weight and is now a part of our pack.
