Congratulations to you both. Do not compare your baby to others. Most Moms would love to sleep all night. Rest when she takes her short naps during the day. Do not try to get your chores done like you used to. Your lives have changed forever. She will bring you so much joy, a messy home will be unimportant. Remember you are still healing and adjusting. Timing her naps and waking hours are unnecessary and stressful. She is your child and you will do what feels right to you and Dad. Remember to take care of each other. Rest broken parents are easily agitated and anxious. You will be fine in a few months 😂

It’s good that your baby sleeps during the day! A lot of babies are born backwards they sleep all day and uo all night it takes them about two months to get into the same day and night schedule as mom and dad so that’s amazing for your baby to be doing that at 3 weeks already! I wish lol mine are months and still not doing it

Congratulations 🍾 on new baby ❤. One thing I use to do with my don was take one of my shirts and roll it up and lay it next to him and he would sleep longer. Then baby wrap if you have things to do during the day or a little baby rocker helps a ton. Also ..sleep when baby sleeps.

I think also feeding baby girl fully will help. Make sure she is fully fed and do little leg work outs for gassiness will help. A lot of babies fussiness is from the gas they are feeling. You got this momma .

Babies this young need physical contact with their mothers for sleep ❤ contact naps will solve the issue for her short naps. Also keeping proper wake windows for her age and making sure she doesn’t get overtired. It’s very normal for this age, I’ve basically had my babies on me 24/7 for the first 3-4 months 😂 they spent 9 months inside of us, they are still part of us for the first 6 months of their lives ( as in they don’t recognize themselves as separate beings from mothers for about first 6 months). And yes, it can get very overwhelming and exhausting being needed so much and not having any autonomy, but it does get easier and then we miss those days when they needed us so much 🥹

Hi 👋🏾 thanks so much for this, I spent last night crying because I was soo exhausted! Literary I wait to even touch my phone after she falls asleep at 9pm everyday, during the day she sleeps for 30 minutes on me and wakes up, if I put her in the bed or play pen to sleep or bassinet she wakes up shortly after and cries, so being needed by her so much let me exhausted even though I love her soo deeply.I’m glad to hear it doesn’t last long but also sad that one day she won’t need me this much. All I can do right now is pray for strength because I am on my feet all day! Literally Cz she also hates when I carry her sitting, also she won’t accept her father to carry her, she will cry so much while on him so I have to carry her. 🙇🏽‍♀️

Suggestions on your baby daughter baby swing basketnet and when you're trying to clean put her in the basket in the and let her rock back and forth she will calm down then but let her be near you when you're cleaning because she can sense your presence and try to put her on your schedule that helps you out or either when she's asleep you if you can I hope this will help and congratulations on her making three months old and a few weeks blessings to your family

I forgot to tell you when the little precious cries let her cry a little bit unless you know she needs to be changed or needs to be nourish by you or the bottle. Most mothers sing that song to their babies because they have a bond and they don't want their children to grow up they want them to stay small and experience every important aspect in there live two women a child girls extremely fast and time goes past real quickly. During the day you going to wish that your daughter stays asleep so you can get things done she is probably on the schedule of the things that you were doing when she was inside of you. Try not to carry her and pick her up too much because when she gets older she's going to expect it and then you really will have a problem grandmothers and mothers here in the United States especially my there's a baby swing bassinet and some of them have music on them it works like a charm and it has many different speeds on it this way your daughter has you close nearby her and she will learn that you are in control and that she cannot always be crying if she is not wet or or hungry for a bottle or either the touch of you I hope this helps enjoy all the moments. you mentioned ur baby sleeps after sunset 🤔 perhaps she prefers the dark and quiet nighttime environment over the bright and busy one of the day. Maybe if u replicate that in the morning by perhaps darkening your surroundings, she may begin to sleep in they daytime?

also using a kanga (a cloth used to tie babies at ur back) may help with u carrying her on u without her being in ur arms so u can more easily complete household tasks 🤗
