This is absolutely spot on !! Feeling hurt/ crushed to your soul when all others see is silence because there are simply no words to express just how much pain you are in .

Yep - i listen at 2x speed - although for you it is 1.5 speed lol

Yep to the physical pain to the emotions- doesn't help when you also have chronic pain as well.

I do love how youre just pacing all over the place. but that brings authenticity. Same thing when we talk on the phone. Helps regulate my body. And gets your daily steps in, lmao. When I started college at 16. went for E Engineering, but also took public speaking as a elective. Mostly because it sounded like the most unbearably terrifying thing I could ever do. And I to try to do things outside of my comfort zone. Froze like a deer in headlights. I was right, absolutely terrifying. But that was 15 years ago. if it was my special interest I would most likely find it fun, because I absolutely love to teach, but 1 on 1.

Oh my gosh, this is so good!! I listened at 1.75 speed, but I absorb quickly because I’m an auditory learner. But then I tend to process other things like emotions at super slow speed. It may take me several days to think about conversations and things.
