Thanks for these vids on AstroGold! Forgive me if you answered this and I missed it, but I’m having a tough time figuring this out so any help would be amazing! I want to quickly follow a phasal relationship between any two planets. For example, on Oct 5, 2005 the transiting North Node was conjunct my natal Mars. I want to be able to set up a chart so that with a few clicks I can find the dates/charts at which this relationship between transiting North Node and my natal Mars is in semi-square, or square, or trine, opposition etc. all the way back to conjunct. Do you know if I can do this with Astro Gold?

I bought Time Passages and even though it is a pretty complete software, I feel certain features are missing, do you considere Astro Gold to be better than that one? Other thing I didn't like is that even though I bought the Advanced Edition, the reports are extras you have to buy, I hate that kind of system, it feels like a scam.

I’m having a hell of a time setting up Astro gold on my iPad and iPhone. At first I couldn’t get any aspects to show on the wheel. Now, if I program my iPhone and iPad exactly the same, I come out with differences of about 3 degrees. I am so confused! I very happy that this happy has all of the details anyone could want. I am one of the long-suffering people who is waiting for a Solar Fire that is Mac-native -- it's been six years since Alabe promised this. Still, it seems odd that you are discussing Astro Gold when Janus has tons of modules for traditional astrology. One can easily create a bi-wheel, for instance, with continuous profections as opposed to a chart format. Distributions of the Ascendant, Solar Revolutions (returns) are also easy to create. While I wish it had even more features, Astro Gold at this point is harder to use than Janus.

I'm not seeing a sheet that calculates the vimshottari dasha system, but that is probably something we could put in a feature request for, as I know that Solar Fire has a built in page for that.

Does anyone have an explanation why the planets move around the wheel in the opposite direction of how they would rise/set? If the planets rise over the ASC, then why when you animate the chart do the planets seem to set at the ASC?
