You should do this but every civilization has like unique abilities, like Vikings could disembark And raid without building roads( gather resources, fight,etc) but only up to 12 blocks away from a river, Rome could be allowed to build mini forts almost anywhere and put people inside to defend the borders, the Netherlands is allowed to gather dirt and stone from the surrounding area and build it on top of the water, and any other fun Nation related abilities you might think of. I think it would be a great idea!

There should be a series that you kraken and cannibal have these kind of battles but a bigger map and many episodes of the same kind of battles I think it would be a really cool series with mods installed so you can like give your troops modded items I think it would be a very cool modded series

When it comes to the more historic map wars, i'd really like to see polish-Lithuania be a faction in one these map wars, not sure who they'd be fighting against but the Polish-Lithuanian Empire is often forgotten despite how strong it used to be back then.

Poland Lithuania wasn't an Empire. It was an Union between the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand-Duchy of Lituania, and other duchies (Livonia, Prussia...)

A cool adaptation of Map Wars in my opinion could be a large scale war game, where you each have to build a kingdom with The Ancient Warfare mod and the mod you use in these videos, and the goal would be to destroy each others kingdom. The gold block rule is still in play, but you don't have to create paths for your soldiers to walk on. The series would be over when there is one last kingdom standing.
