I have watched every Prequel reaction and I've seen one person who knew that the part you said looked like a painting, it is a painting and i don't remember the name. It may not be a carbon copy but it's extremely close, but it's amazing seeing him bring a painting to life!

@@fezzman9898 I think it is closer to the painting shown in Batman vs Superman, though that was supposedly inspired by The Fall of Rebel Angels. Considering how much cinema influence is in this video, I could see the choice to use the Batman reference. Just my thoughts.

@@PerseusM76 It's definitely Paradise Lost. The entire video is covered in religious iconography. A crown of Thorns, crosses, healing the blind, crucifixion, angels, stigmata, etc etc.

Follow up sorry your breakdown was so good. The idea of his music flowing together is definitely something Ronnie’s always done going back to EtF. He did the “guillotine” series, all of which interlinked, before leaving the band. Then there was the trilogy in the mid 2010s: Losing my Mind/Losing my Life/Dr*gs all of which featured an interconnected story line before starting this Popular Monster story line in 2018. So it’s definitely something he’s always wanted to do. Interestingly: if you go watch Losing my mind, you’ll see a VERY similar scene to one in prequel here, of his spirit floating into the clouds which I’ve always wondered… does that mean the real genesis of the PM character lie in the original FiR trilogy character? Yeah FiR is a rabbit hole that’s easy to fall down lol. Anyway, great rxn, loved your breakdown and method. Subbed.

loved this, not pausing ever 3 seconds spending 30 minutes pulling apart each sentence just let the build of the song hit your soul and talking about it after, i went back for the breakdown build up aswell haha, and recognising the suit at the end

@@aladaradus11 to be fair I knew this one wouldn’t get blocked if I watched bigger chunks at a time. Most labels it’s not the case. Not the reactors fault they do what they gotta to get the video out. Blame the label and the archaic copyright system.

keep up the amazing work more FIR songs to checkout are - drug in me is you and drug in me is reimagined, popular monster, voices in my head, losing my mind, losing my life and drugs (trilogy) can also checkout Ronnie's first band escape the fate - situations and not good enough for truth and cliché. after the first album is when Ronnie was having his law problems and going to prison and got kicked out. ETF got a new singer and are still at it - massacre, issues, gorgeous nightmare, you're insane, picture perfect, one for the money, remember every scar, alive, broken heart

I think it is obvious he is showing a retelling of Christ in a different way, from the crown of thorns, the followers, how different he is and perceived, the crucification, the killing of those who want him dead, their entire sky falling, angels and demons fighting for him, the resurrection etc.. In a weird way, I can see this being more realistic in the future than some bearded guy going "i'm jesus" lol. It gets more interesting as the follow up music video shows him burn the church and burn the entire world..You always thought he was the anti-christ, yet the prequel shows he is more Christ, and a Christ who eventually burns the entire world as no one can be saved. I can definitely see this happening.

Everyone can be saved ! But many will choose not to be. Remember that it’s the road to the narrow gate not the big wide one that all of us are headed towards unless you accept Jesus as the Way, the Truth and the Life for no man comes unto the Father except by me. He will return soon to destroy the wicked as you perceive. And yes he could have destroyed those trying to crucify him Matthew 26:53,54 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?” But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?” Jesus have his life for all of us. Ronnie’s cross was a Black cross - possibly depicting the storyline of the false gods. Dunno He’s a deep individual and I love it Makes us think about a lot of different topics.
