Am I the only one suspicious that the parents in the last one murdered their baby? Because I've watched babies, and the only way for that baby to have suffocated was to have fallen asleep face down with the pokeball covering their nose and mouth or otherwise pressing their face up against something to create an air tight seal (which wouldn't have been comfortable to the baby, along with the fact that suffocating would cause the baby to wake up). Or for the pokeball to get suctioned to their face, but anyone who as done something similar with a plastic or Styrofoam cup knows that it isn't difficult to dislodge (mainly by you know exhaling), and that baby definitely would have been flailing around trying to get it off in the case of it somehow getting stuck (because suffocating people rarely just sit there or hold the object suffocating them to their face). In the report, it said that the baby suctioned it to her face by holding it to her face and then inhaling, creating a vacuum. Except for the fact that the vacuum would have ended the second she exhaled, either voluntarily, or by losing consciousness, because the vacuum could only exist for as long as she could hold her breath. That's how vacuums work, negative air pressure, in this case powered by the baby's diaphragm. It also said her two older siblings were there, four and five respectively and that they witnessed the death, and that mom was in the shower (for 20 minutes). But if that's true why didn't they do something, why not go get mom (there have been four and five year olds that have called emergency services while adults were otherwise incapacitated, but all they had to do was go bang on the bathroom door)? Why was a four and five year old left alone with a baby anyways? Why take a 20 minute shower when there's no one else there to watch your baby other than a four and five year old? The whole situation sounds suspicious in my opinion, either mom did it and the kids are covering for her, or one of the kids did it not knowing they were committing murder, and mom is covering for them (or mom just has no idea). Or something else happened entirely. Because what it says went down, doesn't make any sense, based on how vacuums work, and on haw I'm pretty sure most children would react to seeing their sibling (or anyone) suffocating. The wiki page brings up the idiotic idea Russ Rader put forward when speaking of the suffocation that (and I quote), "the more the child breaths, the tighter the ball is held in place". Except that's not how it works, because the air we breath doesn't just vanish, once it reaches our lungs, the mass of air is not destroyed upon entering the body, all it is, is held with in the lungs, and the lungs only have a certain capacity. You can't breath in an infinite amount of air, and the air you breath isn't lost to existence, so while placing something over your mouth and nose and inhaling _will_ create a vacuum, the vacuum could only _be_ a vacuum for as long as you can hold your breath, and _make_ the vacuum. So the vacuum in this case scenario would have failed the instant that baby lost consciousness and exhaled, it is _not_ possible for that baby to have suffocated in the manner described. Something else happened to that baby, and if that plastic pokeball did suffocate her to death, it did not happen in the manner described, because of the facts of how our bodies, and how vacuums work.

I feel like it was stupid to take out the casino in later remakes of the games. Blue version taught me an important lesson: I have an addiction to gambling. It's better that I learn that in a video game with fake money and no real consequences than in real life where I could lose real money and deal with considerable consequences. Now, I avoid gambling because I know this about myself--even in video games I would play later on in life. For instance, in Fallout: New Vegas, I'd make a point of ignoring the Blackjack tables because I know of my problem and don't want to lose all my caps (for those who don't know, the currency in the Fallout games). I want to know, WHO has the right time to call out a innocent person/group/company and blames them for little things? With Jinx, she was black and has big lips. The big lips are part of her design. The color black was chosen because they based it off of a Japanese thing. The Pokemon evolution is not real evolution, so its just metamorphosis. You know what's funny? I'm a fundamental Christian (Independent Baptist to be exact) and a Creationist, and I see NO problem with Pokemon, and in fact loved it growing up. I'm wondering where people come up with this stuff, like.... talismans? All in the world the badges were was a symbol of your skill level, and a higher skill level meant you could tame higher level Pokemon and had learned techniques with that skill level to help Pokemon finesse HM moves and the like enough to use them outside of battle. That was IT. And as for evolution, I always looked at Pokemon as Micro evolution; small changes within a species, whereas like species produce like species, without the species actually fully changing. Pikachu always evolves into Raichu, but they're still electric mice at the end of the day. Even Eevee, despite it's many variants of evolutions, it still looks like a fennec fox bunny thing with a different element and colour at the end of the day. It's Macro evolution I have an issue with, and my fellow Christians and Creationists (Granted many are not true to the name they take, sadly hiding behind said label in order to progress their own agenda) need to get educated and stop attacking innocent things, and start worrying about real issues. Honestly... And before anyone asks or says anything, NO I'm not gonna debate or argue with you. Debate is pointless because both parties tend to go in with a predetermined mindset, and all it serves to do in the end is further turn people against each other. I'm just stating my take on the subject matter and going on my merry way.

***** really I like the games but I lost intrest in the anime some time during black and white where I felt it got really jumbled like how they tried to combine black and white with black and white 2 towards the end and we had to wait that whole time to meet Cheren or how Iris kept boasting she would be a dragon master when she only had like two dragon types

XY covers a lot more mature themes to older anime seasons. death, love, kidnapping etc. its still all done in a very kid-friendly way but it makes the show much more engaging

In regards to the violence thing: I actually think the anime is good for teaching kids to be kind to animals. Battles are like boxing, not dogfighting. Trainers are chastised for pushing their pokemon too hard or letting them get genuinely hurt during battle, and they're very respected. I love how pokemon and their trainers are seen as partners. There are countless episodes where Ash and the gang have to stop someone from abusing them, basically. Like that one where that asshole trainer abandoned charmander. "Father! Please understand. Pokémon are not tools. Pokémon and humans take each other to greater heights. They are our wonderful partners. Some humans understand this. Why can't you?"
