The Pokemon i use in every game if they are available: Gardevoir, Heracross, Milotic, Bewear, Sandslash, and Chandelure. Other than that, i just like to mix and match. I don't even look at stats. i just pick based about half on looks, half on moves.

Adult animals are stronger than juveniles! * Extinct creatures, especially of the Cenozoic, are a wildly underused source of ideas for Pokemon designs (fossils notwithstanding, and they are pretty much always based on Paleozoic and Mesozoic creatures anyway).
