I honestly would use an Ultra Ball and any other ball than a Poke Ball or Great Ball due to their performance and just for the fact that it almost always works for me most of the time. Its my go to Poke Ball in the games

Silly and probably horribly unbalance idea, but it would be cool if Mega Evolution came back permanently with two ways to do it: Mega Stone Method: - Pokemon must be holding a Mega Stone - Ignores friendship level with trainer - Pokemon suffers from transforming (according to Dex) - Pokemon takes recoil dmg after each action - The form lasts for the duration of the battle Mega Bond Method: - Pokemon does not require Mega Stone (they may hold other items now) - Must have maxed out friendship to work - Pokemon does not personally suffer from transforming this way - Pokemon does not recieve recoil damage - Pokemon does not get new ability and keeps ability of previous form - Form only lasts for 3 turns (turn of transformation is counted) So basically, you can sacrifice your item slot to force a mega evolution that hurts your pokemon but lasts the whole battle, or you can max out your friendship to get a Mega that lets you use normal items but only lasts for 3 turns and doesn't give you the new ability that your form comes with. This also means if you maxed out friendship with multiple pokemon, you pick which one Megas in each fight instead of being locked to the one with the stone or having to carry two stones which makes the other pokemon basically itemless during that fight. Plus mindgames of "Which one will I mega? And when?" For dramatic effect I also considered a 1 stage Atk and Sp.Atk boost for the stones to sell the whole berserker thing and justify the recoil damage. But I dunno. That might be too much and incentivize using painful stones too much. Doesn't matter though, Nintendo would never try any of this lol 😅

I think Air Lens would be more fitting for an ability than a move and if Air Lens does become a real ability then I think not only Magmar should get it but Magcargo and Reshiram should have it as well only because their bodies are very hot especially Magcargo’s which is 18,000 degrees
