The problem with the thrift stores is they are charging new prices on second hand goods. Vinnies in Sydney are outrageous when it comes to pricing.

I rarely take anyone else's opinion on stores and I always go in with a smile and often a bit of a chat to the staff. Lifeline' has horrendous prices t the one closest to me so I rarely venture in there. I've never heard of Etnies - one more to look out for! Have a great week 😁

I don't tend to listen to others too much when it comes to Store ratings....always best to find out yourself plus you can find really good bargains that way also. Etnies look nice too :)

Loved this style of video. You had me laughing at your spin on the original comments. I'm finding prices on the Gold Coast are getting higher when I dragged the family in to some of the shops in your neck of the woods. The other half said I should not compalin about the prices on the NSW mid coast any more! LOL. Never checked the ratings for the ones around here, but I just go to it. Good luck and have a happy! Etnies!! Every time I watch I want to go back to do DVDs. I don’t think they go for as much here in the US. I did sell Benny Hill complete set for almost $200. So that was a good one! Keep up the good work love the videos 😊

I went to an op shop with a 1 star review. The review was because the cashier and a customer were talking about how Santa isn't real and the person reviewing it had their 6 year old niece with them who burst out crying. Strangest review I'd seen in a while. I think I actually owned a very similar pair of Etnies back in the day! I know they were etnies x metal mulisha for sure.

Love this video. I regularly go to most of the shops you went to. You don't have to use the carpark at the front of the Lifeline, Molendinar store. Just drive to the other end of the building or up the far side or at the front of the second building. After going to the new Salvos store near Bunnings, drive across to the Churches of Christ Op shop. Great little shop with sensational prices. Did you read the Courier Mail story on collecting recently? They showed pictures of the most valuable dvds recently sold, including my Sullivans set (snicker, snicker!)

Great concept for the video. All those DVD finds makes me want to go thrifting after work today. Then I remember that I am picking up two DVD racks & about 200 DVDs with them. Not a great score I think but enough to pay for the $40 for the two shelf & give the rest to a local lady that has passed on a heap of old bolos to me in the past. I still want to go to the op shop now though. 😂 Etnies 👍

Must admit I've never heard of Etnies before. I've never checked the ratings on the stores near me but always take bad reviews with a grain of salt anyway. I might start dropping reviews on stores with outrageous prices though. Walked into a Lifeline up here I hadn't visited before and my jaw dropped at the rows of Anime series in the DVD section. Then my heart sank when I saw why they had so many. Prices were horrendous. They had one single (fat) DVD series stickered at $50!! Dreaming!!
