Salmon on the Barbie for Australia Day here at the farm, making some yummy, homemade and healthy doggy treats for the dogs. It was such a hot day, forty one degrees Celsius, so this was after a long day soaking in the pool to keep cool. Luckily, there was a lovely cool change in the afternoon.

Dru is so generous with the salmon. Every dog enjoys it so much. Luke has done such a great job as every dog is well mannered in waiting to get their piece. We have a lot of retired greyhounds in the uk which were used for racing and they are not treated well when they are kept for racing at all but I note you don’t really have any - or maybe one or 2 and I imagine you don’t have greyhound racing in oz?

Luke is such a good doggy Dad. They just love salmon, yogurt and blueberries. This is extremely healthy. It would take extreme concentration to remember who got the treat and who didn't with 20 dogs, lol!!! They also love creme cheese and cottage cheese. Just like humans.

Ah, lost my comment in doing things. Your celsius was apparently about 104 degrees farenheit. A lot of buckets of water needed for some 20 dogs. Enjoyed Luke's chef work and the basic training that goes with distribution. Cruiser "stole the show" with deciding salmon was o.k., yogurt may be o.k. and (progressively) blueberries were to be dropped instantly. Glad you all have the pools/pond. Liked that you put some name labels on for new viewers.

It always makes me smile to see Luke - the Pied Piper, where he goes all the dogs go. Always a group effort. I think the dogs should be lined up for these snacks, and Luke can just walk up and down the line to make sure all treats are distributed fairly. Or train them to wait in a line, come forward at their name for treat and then go to the back to their place in line.

“It’s” name is Cutie Pie. They got her at Christmas 2 years ago at a few months old. Shes only known life with big dogs so she assumes she’s a big dog too and acts accordingly. 😊

@TakeTheRide - That's Cutie Pie and she's only known life at the Farm - she has a strong personality, and all of the pack respects her.....she's had the surgery to ease her breathing but it's a common thing with Brachycephalic breeds (flat nose) - it can sound extreme especially when she gets excited but, she's fine. xx💜🐾🐾

Since a few years now, there are many videos of content creator for this where they make specific soft sounds like whispering in the mic and/or rubbing it, use soft lights, for instance... Different stimuli to help you relax or sleep... You can easily find ASMR videos on KZbin if you want to get an idea. Some people like it and others do not, I'm in the second category 😉

Thanks I’ll look it up. But I’m thinking I already don’t like it! I certainly don’t need any help falling asleep! lol I did not notice anything like that in this video… I’ll have to rewatch it and pay closer attention. I was so busy smiling at the dogs on their bestest behaviour patiently waiting for a treat! 😂

@@sheryl5252 I talked about ASMR because the dogs don't bark in this video as usual and we mostly hear them chewing and grumbling today like Till-Till, Abra... Hence my comparison 😉 Some of the ASMR videos have millions of views but I'm just not receptive... However I would be happy to watch all the ASMR videos of The Farm 😍😂

Those hors d'oeuvres are pretty fancy for a doggy pool pawty 😂 Cruiser wasn't quite sure what to do with all the extras, but he did appreciate the salmon! 😊 That yogurt looks soooo good. I love a nice thick yogurt. 😋
