I love the fact that you aren't afraid to try new things, give us your thoughts, and even be honest when you say you wouldn't put something in your bag because of how it looks or how it might appear to others. I am also glad about your pushing the use of Hybrids as I find them much easier to hit than any long iron.

I’ve been playing Tour Edge clubs for a number of years now and have the exact same C721 5 hybrid club in my bag that you feature in this video. It has been great for me too. But my Tour Edge 7 wood and 4 utility iron are even better! My guess is you will really like their fairway woods if you get a chance to try them.

Hi Andy. Great video, love your posts. The Exotics line is Tour Edge’s premium line (adjustability with driver and woods, choice of different brands of shafts, etc). I just switched to Tour Edge Hot Launch C522 irons with C522 4 & 5 hybrids. The Hot Launch line could be called their “bargain” line (all about game improvement, no adjustability, one choice of steel or graphite shafts, etc). For me they make a great product. Launch the ball high and straight, plus TE products come with a lifetime warranty. Thanks for posting this video.

Thanks! Been looking for this. Am thinking of either purchasing a used C521 or E521. Not too used to the hybrids just yet

I have the 3 wood and love it. If I feel the need to replace my Cobra driver this is the first brand I’m testing. Just look at their record in the Champions tour which relates far more to the average golfers swing speed. Stop aiming for the stars and start aiming for the fairways!

It is amazing how sneaky good some of these less known brands do. One of my golfing buddies just bought some Wilson D9 Irons. A couple of the guys were making a bit of fun with him until he beat them all. He hits those irons a country mile and for a fraction of the cost of a Callaway or Taylormade irons that were released in 2022. I am in the market for some new irons. Just coming off of a total knee replacement so I have been hitting balls on the range. Also just bought a Titleist Pro Titanium 975-FE Driver. This driver was on Ebay for 14.00 US dollars. This driver was used by Tiger in the late 1990's. I hit it straight and about 220 yards. It is a ultralight 60 Stiff shaft and 9.5 loft. I paid 14.00 to have it delivered. lol Thanks so much for your videos. I love the channel

You might consider a used set of Callaway Epic Forged Irons. They are very long distance irons. They were the super premium irons in the Callaway lineup but I'm seeing used 6-p going for $500 on ebay.

I'm not surprised with your review, I bought a set of Tour Edge EXS back in 2018 SW - 6 Iron 5 & 4 Hybrid 5, 3W & Driver and LOVE them. I'm thinking of getting the EXS 723's I also agree that Tour Edge clubs are a fantastic value !!!!

I play their iron-woods and 9,7,3 woods (don’t like hybrids). I’m an amateur 12 handicap (self taught) and was fitted for the iron-woods. Love the clubs. My fitter said most people show up to get fitted but have already decided what brand and style they want regardless of what they need which is why less people buy Tour Edge and hybrid irons.
@tuamgolfer2 жыл бұрын
I heard of their fairway woods a decade or so ago and swapped my 3 wood for an EX9 four wood. Same distance beautiful launch and flight. Never looked back and it’s as good as any other of the well known brands. It was often supplied by independent club fitters until they did a deal with American Golf last year.

Great as always Andy! As others have said the C721 Driver is an absolute beast and Tour Edge has a great pre-owned club program on their website. I was clinging to my Tsi3 Driver but had no choice but to replace it with the C721 based on performance.

I have two hybrids, a Ben Hogan 18 degree Vktr+ and a PXG 0211 19 degree, both are reasonably priced. The PXG was recently on sale and has an adjustable hosel so I scooped one up. Haven’t hit it yet but I’ve hit the Hogan and like it. Only iron I’d consider dropping right now is my 4 but that would depend on the course I’m playing. Hardly see any Tour Edge equipment at my local retailer but wouldn’t mind hitting some of their stuff for fun.

Here in the US, Tour Edge is definitely not an obscure brand. Several senior players use the brand on the Champions Tour. I played their driver in the 90's and early 2000's. Going to be upgrading my current driver and fairway metals soon and definitely have Tour Edge on the list to try.

I have played their iron-woods ( a.k.a. Hybrid -irons) and found them a little too daw biased for my game. I have a half set of their Bazooka model ( 3,5,7,9,SW) a HP4 model PW and a E521 6 iron. Plus I have the 5 wood Bazooka too. They have improved over the models, but I prefer the Cleveland HB Launcher hybrid -irons. Having said all that, if I was a slicer of the ball, I would love these clubs. I have to aim about 10 m to the right of my intended target to compensate for the draw tendency. I can fade them a little if I try. I should have bought the C models ( less off set) , but these were all pretty cheap second hand.

I have a Q for you Mr Average Golfer,, Im also an (good) average golfer, love my new Srixon Irons,, but I have and use an older Tour Edge, Bazooka Max, 3wood 15` ,, it's old but I get 215-225m (240m on a good roll), hard to beat, as a 3 wood, for me. I would like to change the shaft to a Stiff and add 1' in length,, Q: Would that get me any extra distance,?? I'm hoping to create a 3 wood that can match my driver ( 260-280m on a good roll)which I don't use in winter anyway,, thanks for your Vids
@TheAverageGolfer2 жыл бұрын
The addition of length will add club head speed which potentially means longer but perhaps at the sacrifice of finding the centre of the club face
@samrad17452 жыл бұрын
@@TheAverageGolfer I think I will try doing that to replace my need for a driver. with a longer and stiffer shaft I think my 3 wood will still be better control..and if I gain an extra 15-20m looking to get me the 245-265m, which is then just a full pitch in to the green on most of my holes. keep you posted when I get it going. thanks for your response and cheers.

the new stuff looks better....i bough a new set of exs irons not so long ago....and it was kind of a progressive set design wise. unfortunately the progression wasnt fluid in feel or performance. a 7 iron might fly 170 feel nice. 6 iron felt harsh flew lower and went 200....it was that odd.
