Really appreciate your kind feedback. If only the KZbin algorithm could read comments and see what people are saying to influence the videos promotion to other golfers/viewers. All I can do is keep putting the best content possible out there and trust that more and more people will see it over time 👍

One of my several drivers is a Tour Edge 722C with the Fujikura Ventus T4 OEM shaft, not the Velocore upgrade. Tour Edge has an E version and a C version. The C version is designed for faster swing speeds including yours. It has adjustable weights with the heavier one in front and lighter one in back to move the CG forward and reduce spin. I reversed the two in order to get a bit more spin I needed. The E version you are testing here is designed for the average recreational golfer with a swing speed of below 90 who needs additional spin to get height and carry. It has weight only in back. Your data confirms this. You have the 9 degree lofted head, so at 90 mph the spin is about perfect at 2330 and so is the descent angle at 36. But more average recreational players would be fitted with the 10.5 degree head, and that would bring the spin up to around 3150 even for you swing speed. So the 725C would be the right version for you, for the105 mph swing speed, and even for the 90 speed. Have you tested the 725C? IMHO, Tour Edge drivers are as good as anything produced by the major premium driver brands. They offer a lifetime warranty for the original owner. Callaway offers a 2-year warranty, and Ping appears to do the same. Titleist offers a 1-year warranty.

You sound very knowledgeable. Have a question maybe you can help? I swing 100 mph and have about 4 degrees of out to in in my swing path. I also have a neutral contact point. I don’t hit up or down on the ball. My ball tends to spin around 3,000-3,500 on launch monitor. I hit a 9 degree with a stiff flex and feel like my ball flight is too low. Would I benefit from going to a 10.5 degree head? Also, I’m wondering if regular flex would be better than stiff? Any suggestions or thoughts?

Super review. Love the heat maps. All new to me. These clubs are gonna get a serious look from me at this price. I'm in a very old Cobra. So just about anything will be an upgrade. I don't have access to a proper fitting service. So I guess it becomes a toss up between this or the C725. I'm thinking the E with a lower lofted shaft, or the the C with more front to back adjustment. A similar review and comparison of the C725 would be much appreciated 👍

this was great. fantastic heat map discussion. Will you be doing this with the Titleist GT drivers soon ?
@AskGolfNut2 ай бұрын
I haven't got a media partnership with Titleist (they are impossible to get hold of) but if I can get hold of them to test, I absolutely will be putting them through the same testing for fair and balanced reviews. 👍

Great in-depth review as usual. This is a certainly a brand I am interested in trying but they appear to stock it at AG in the uk, and not entirely sure they offer custom fit in their shop as I have seen many if any of them.
@AskGolfNut2 ай бұрын
Definitely not as abundantly offered in the UK as the US but hopefully they'll be retail outlets that will have these in full fitting cart offerings soon 🤞

Def must see a comparison of all the drivers via this heatmap view. That's the real test- distance drop off and it's impact on scoring by driver.

We are gathering more and more Drivers in our heat map database, 2025 will see a flurry of new drivers that will be reviewed in the same way. These and all current irons also will be available to view whenever by my KZbin Members even at the lowest tier entry level at 3.99 per month. Also available to normal viewers and Members alike is the AGN Discord where this is chatted about in more detail. 👍

This a great review. Which shaft were you using and in which stiffness for the swing speed changes.
@andy_bickley16 күн бұрын
It was the same shaft in all test. Shafts only affect how you deliver the club to the ball, as you can see from the test data , in all swing speeds the club delivery values are the same in each case so shaft doesn't matter.
@andy_bickley2 ай бұрын
Nice budget driver that would work well in the hands of slow-mid swing speeds
@AskGolfNut2 ай бұрын
Absolutely, or even a fast swing speed that swings in a way that limits their spin profile.... although those guys are few. Defo a great option for the Slow to Mid speed swinger 👍
@adrianbennett91342 ай бұрын
Really great video, as always. It has an impressive list of no-cost option shafts, presumably some of them would have a lower spin profile, which would then move the green blob more into the middle of the club and improve overall distance? Tour Edge says the 18g weight can move the flight by 7 yards (i think, or maybe 9) so with that and a loft sleeve and a range of shafts it should be a fitters dream, and it's $400. From what I've read the C725 is lower spinning so may be more suited to your speed. Jay, what confuses me is when we get to the fairway woods. The E725 which is the most forgiving has a fixed weight and a fixed hosel, but the C725 then has a moveable weight and adjustable hosel which just seems odd compared to the drivers. Do you have the fairways to try? Hope you feel better soon.
@AskGolfNut2 ай бұрын
Hi Adrian, nope only the E725 to test, depending on if Tour Edge want to send me the C725, Fairways and also Irons, I'll be doing the reviews for them also. They do have an impressive range of shafts and yes your understanding of the heat map is exactly right. Moving the DF heat map to the same as the Eff Heat Map proves to be the perfect driver..... Will we ever see it 😀👍 I feel ok, just a little coughy and spluttery on camera which isnt the most professional especially for an Open All Access Live Stream, so hoping to give it a few days and do it then 👍
@MaartenAnna2 ай бұрын
One of the best, comprehensive driver reviews I ever saw. Q. Can you get multiple weights for this? Are they extra? I’m just wondering, it’ll be fun to tinker around with on the range.
@AskGolfNut2 ай бұрын
1:23 shows what weights they are available in. If they cost extra I would assume that Tour Edge may well charge a small fee but I may be wrong 👍
@andy_bickley2 ай бұрын
Just have to remember as Jay has said before changing those weights would almost certainly change the moi , a small weight would likely drop it below the 10k mark , and a bigger weight would already increase the spin on a very spinny driver.
@MaartenAnna2 ай бұрын
@@AskGolfNut yeah, thanks for showing that. I had a look at their, quite poorly designed, website but couldn't find it only a pdf with blabla and shaft and loft options, nothing about weights, hence me asking. Nor anywhere to order, no image, etc.

Personally haven't looked much at their website but in the present day of Marketing being so important if indeed their website is quite poor in either content or navigation then they best sort that asap 🤔🤷👍

One place from a quick Google search is American Golf. They commonly have stocked the Tour Edge irons and woods. I'm unsure on AG ability to custom fit them, although AG's ability to custom fit anything is questionable 🤦🤔👍

Great video !! For the 90/100/110 test did you switch lofts ? Or were they all at 9.5 or 10.5 etc ?
@AskGolfNut2 ай бұрын
All the same loft, wanted to show case the difference with its spin profile as speed is changed (keeping variables down to a minimum) 👍
@oldred19592 ай бұрын
Your reviews are fantastic and probably the most in depth I have seen, my only nagging thought with the difference swing speed options is surely by using the same shaft these figures aren't optimal at that swing speed. You probably aren't using 60g stiff at 110mph, so you could get more out of it, maybe the 100mph with that shaft is as close to optimal as you would get. Surely fitting yourself with a shaft for each speed option would give optimal performance. Not possible of course due to shafts available and the time it would take but worth a mention. @@AskGolfNut
@AskGolfNut2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. So when it comes to shafts, most golfers are sensitive to shaft types and bend profiles and deliver distinctly different dynamic loft, angle for attack and face to path. This is why it's so important to get fitted for the vast majority of golfers. I'm very lucky to not be shaft sensitive and deliver the dame regardless of the shaft I have in irons and drivers (it's the way I transition in the swing that causes this). Normally this information cooks people's noodles so to give clarity I always give detailed head data so people can see that regardless of considerable speed change, the delivery of AoA, Face to Path and Dynamic Loft is almost identical (for a human at least 😊). So changing shaft wouldn't make any difference to these numbers so launch and spin aren't affected. The beauty with doing it this way is we see exactly what speed orientated spin increase has on flight. For me, changing shaft doesn't have any affect on delivery so no affect on the numbers you see. Basically when I test drivers I get to see how the head CG plays a part on the spin profile for differing speeds. The shaft for me is important only as it connects the head to the grip 😊👍

Jay how does it compare to the eleven driver?
@andy_bickley2 ай бұрын
The Eleven NH01 driver is very similar , it has a higher Distance factor off the Toe , and has a lower spin profile over all. AGN youtube channel members have access to compare all the data we have on clubs. Just have to have bronze level channel membership and then join the discord link in the video description.

@AskGolfNutАй бұрын
I'm still amazed by that Eleven Driver and the efficiency numbers it gives out..... Apparently they say its legal, how I don't know, but you have to take them at face value.... For the price there isn't an on balance option that competes with it 👍
