Doesnt this look like the perfect place for a summer vacation? You are right in the heart of nature and able to explore it in so many unique ways! I would love to be able to get out onto the water and enjoy a campfire beside the lake! Simply stunning!

The kayaking on the lake looks quite tranquil and a nice experience. Paddling to the lagoon seems like a great idea. Looks quite nice. Bon Echo Provincial park looks very nice. Full of places to explore and relax.

Bon Echo is one of our favorite parks. We got married on top of Mazinaw Rock in 2002. We usually camp in the Hardwood Hills area where the sites are bigger and have a lot more privacy. No hydro so you don't have the big trailers. There are other lakes to paddle on...Bon Echo Lake is a beautiful lake to paddle on...boat launch is just past the last cabin ( which that area use to be group camping). Joe Perry is a beautiful lake although some of it is hard to access when the water is low. We haven't been there for a few years so it was interesting and disappointing to see the damage from the Del Recho that went through there a couple of years ago. We love the trails on the west side of the highway too. The Shield trail is our favorite...we have seen the beaver pond area go from a dry area to back to water over the years. Hope to return soon when they have the park cleaned up.

We'd definitely try a non-electric site for more privacy so we might have to try the Hardwood Hills next time. Hope we can go back to do my kayaking and try out Joe Perry lake and more trails. Such a fun spot to get married too!!

What an amazing park! I love the broad range of campsites. The amount trees is something I'd really appreciate. Nice walking paths to explore. I like the set up you guys have. Yes, I love kayaking and what views from the water. That's a massive rock Cliff. All the water activities and places to kayak through.

Thank you for your video! I started to watch your videos since yesterday and I could not stop! I’ve been going to Long Point Provincial Park for camping, with my two kids. The older one is almost 6 and the little one is almost 2. I’m looking for any other one except for Long Point. I could not find any complete reviews other than your videos! Thank you again!

I have been to bon echo once and loved it. I loved kayaking with the beautiful mazinaw rock formation. Beautiful views! Doesn't look that busy when you were there

It's lovely there. We didn't find it too busy, maybe because of the rainy weather.

That’s good to know there is a boat tour to go see the pictographs if you don’t want to kayak, canoe or paddleboard. That kind of sucks that the bathroom wasn’t centrally located. But I do love there was a lot of water around.
