12K is a steal for that beautiful stove and well worth it! Thank you for this Q&A. It is always easy for others to sit back and believe that everything is handed to someone who has success in life. I love the story Daniel told of his family sitting at the dinner table and it was common for them to talk about business and how it works. Just on a side note, I ordered a Ballerina Farm meat box for my husband for Christmas last year and everything was delicious! Even the pastries and cookies. Oh my! That will be a tradition, for sure. I would subscribe, but we live rural and are blessed to have a nice mennonite meat farm nearby where we purchase our meat.

I appreciate how upfront you are about the value of your things! It frustrates me to see people offended that things are "unattainable", and it frustrates me when people refuse to disclose to cost of what they have. Being upfront about the monetary and time costs of your lifestyle empowers people to set concrete goals and determine exactly what steps to take to achieve whatever they desire to be, do, or have.
@bluesky72887 ай бұрын
Besides the ridiculous cost of the stove, what other costs did they refer too?
@meganrichter97487 ай бұрын
@@bluesky7288 they listed the costs of the stove itself, installation, and operation. This is great because it enables anyone interested in that kind of stove to negotiate a bonus at work, cut back spending in a certain category, or pursue a short term side job to generate that much extra income. Anyone interested in that kind of stove now knows just how much expendable income to dedicate each month to operating that stove, and they can take that number and use it to negotiate their salary with their current or future employer. Of course you would find the cost ridiculous if you don't see the value in it. Perhaps you don't live somewhere cold or don't spend much time cooking, or perhaps you have a different sense of style or interior design preferences. Different things bring joy to different people. If something brings joy to you, it's kind to empower people to achieve that thing for themselves. I love your AGA cooker and it's so rare to see them these days! I sold AGA cookers in North America for several years, and still cook with one (Claret color) that was installed new in 1997 and it's still running strong. But yours is older than mine! One year I earned the title of North America's #1 AGA cooker sales person for selling the most new cookers. They were built to last a lifetime and then some. People invest in them knowing that the stove will outlive them, and they will never have to replace it. Yes, AGA was not the easiest company to work with, though the traditional AGA is a workhorse and I loved selling them because I was sold on it myself! And yes, even though the AGA is forgiving (I cooked a pie over an hour and it was still okay), I used to bake by smell. That's not possible with the AGA. The general rule of thumb I used to tell new AGA owners was to check whatever you're cooking in about 1/2 the normal time. Chances are it won't be done, but that will help you determine how much longer to cook it. One lady in California who baked every day told me that her gas bill actually decreased after her AGA installation because with the AGA, there's no preheating, it's always ready, as you stated. She had to preheat her Wolf stove every day to bake, which is why the Wolf consumed more gas than the AGA.

I say the exact same thing the article I read was about how she was a traditional wife I took one look at the channel and thought she’s a business woman lol very successful too and I didn’t even know they sold products like bread online. She’s the face and centre of this channel and earning a lot from it. That’s awesome good on her, amazing even to do it all whilst looking after 6 kids. But I guarantee this channel makes more money than the farm and to try and pass this off as a traditional wife set up where the man is the breadwinner is just stupid Imo. It’s far more equal if anything I would say she’s possibly the bread winner here.

One aspect that I’d love to hear you talk more about is how the kids are cared for. How much help do you have? When you’re filming videos like this, what are they doing? You do homeschool? How do you manage that along with all of the food preparation and the daily cleaning? Just really fascinating to try to understand how the family operates

It’s a shame that they feel embarrassed for their privilege 😢 like - their families worked for it! They worked for it! What’s not to love about that? I love a millionaire who spends their money farming and buying a fine ass stove to feed their family! People forget what actual people do with fortune - and this is the most noble out of all!! She’s my idol!
@stenitez97247 ай бұрын
Yes this!! So what that they have money, they're building generational wealth in my opinion and I think that's beautiful. If I had money like they do, I'd live my life the same as them. I think this is more rich then driving in nice cars living in a too large of a home, etc. Although, I'd definitely have a pool. Lol.

Great story about your Aga stove. It will last forever and keep you warm in Winter. On a farm probably the best purchase for a big family kitchen. That was a good price as stoves go. Beautiful in green too. It will earn its price many times over as the kids grow .
