SHARING OUR DREAM WITH YOU
This channel is all about the adventures, hard work, and farm lifestyle chosen by two city kids who wanted live the dream of modern farming, while preserving the quality of life found in traditional home cooking and living off the land.
Nestled in the fertile, mountain valleys of Utah, Ballerina Farm is named after Hannah, a former Miss New York City and graduate of the Juilliard School of Dance. Daniel is a history major and now holds his MBA to guide the ever-growing business. The children are wild, hardworking, and homeschooled by their mother as they learn to farm, rodeo, dance, and grow barefoot and free.

After 12 years of cities, came back, me and my husband decided to live here we are newly married... I think more and more people seem to realise that family and smaller simple life led with gratitude and faith is the answer. Thank you for sharing your story!

I love your AGA cooker and it's so rare to see them these days! I sold AGA cookers in North America for several years, and still cook with one (Claret color) that was installed new in 1997 and it's still running strong. But yours is older than mine! One year I earned the title of North America's #1 AGA cooker sales person for selling the most new cookers. They were built to last a lifetime and then some. People invest in them knowing that the stove will outlive them, and they will never have to replace it. Yes, AGA was not the easiest company to work with, though the traditional AGA is a workhorse and I loved selling them because I was sold on it myself! And yes, even though the AGA is forgiving (I cooked a pie over an hour and it was still okay), I used to bake by smell. That's not possible with the AGA. The general rule of thumb I used to tell new AGA owners was to check whatever you're cooking in about 1/2 the normal time. Chances are it won't be done, but that will help you determine how much longer to cook it. One lady in California who baked every day told me that her gas bill actually decreased after her AGA installation because with the AGA, there's no preheating, it's always ready, as you stated. She had to preheat her Wolf stove every day to bake, which is why the Wolf consumed more gas than the AGA.

One aspect that I’d love to hear you talk more about is how the kids are cared for. How much help do you have? When you’re filming videos like this, what are they doing? You do homeschool? How do you manage that along with all of the food preparation and the daily cleaning? Just really fascinating to try to understand how the family operates

12K is a steal for that beautiful stove and well worth it! Thank you for this Q&A. It is always easy for others to sit back and believe that everything is handed to someone who has success in life. I love the story Daniel told of his family sitting at the dinner table and it was common for them to talk about business and how it works. Just on a side note, I ordered a Ballerina Farm meat box for my husband for Christmas last year and everything was delicious! Even the pastries and cookies. Oh my! That will be a tradition, for sure. I would subscribe, but we live rural and are blessed to have a nice mennonite meat farm nearby where we purchase our meat.

Praise God for the new Dairy and the fact that both Daniel and Hannah come from loving large families that are members of a loving Church family. You both have a very inspiring story. I appreciate how Daniel explained that growing up, talks around the dinner table were about how to start a business, etc. We desperately need to become more entrepreneurial minded here in America. That's what built our nation. We have become such a consumer society, relying on everything being imported. Local businesses are the backbone of communities. You guys are doing a great job! Forget about the drama people. 😊 ❤

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We have similar values about family and believe in the divine role of motherhood. It doesn’t mean women can’t do other things of course but I am beyond grateful for a fellow Christian stating what he believes. This country was founded on freedom of religion and its tragic people of faith are being ridiculed in today’s society. Thank you for your example and strength Harrison. God bless you.

Worth to watch! Did not know what to think about Ballerina Farm, the creator, Misses World, etc. but open to hearing the story behind it. It shows married people working together on building their family, home, and business. It sounds humble, reflective, honest, and very natural. And they talk with and to each other in such a loving way. Also, the comment about how many kids and why answered with Kids can change the world and community to the better... Seeing, and hearing all that makes me wanna see where your journey together goes, and wishing you and all the best in life!

It’s a shame that they feel embarrassed for their privilege 😢 like - their families worked for it! They worked for it! What’s not to love about that? Yes this!! So what that they have money, they're building generational wealth in my opinion and I think that's beautiful. If I had money like they do, I'd live my life the same as them. I have three adult same age sons - age 30. One is with me 24/7 due to his severe disabilities. I can’t lie- I can’t do it all. I barely have time to cook my son needs so much care. My husband is a roofer - and if he gets cereal with milk for dinner -he’s happy. I can’t lie - it seems as if you have a perfect life. I wonder what I did or am doing wrong? Healing from two broken legs and a shattered kneecap to keep my son safe (from running outside in parking lot) long story. I take life one day at a time. I used to be so jealous- what can I do better? I’ve come to realize that this is what I was given in my life. My son is my hero. He teaches me a different way to life!!!!! I couldn’t watch your shorts on if they would make me cry. Now- I enjoy your videos and wish you and your beautiful family a lifetime of happiness. That is what is most important!!!!! Everyone has their own crosses to bear. Not all are the same or even seen. I appreciate everything you have to share. ❤

I love that stove. I live in the south so it would not work in this heat. But it is so pretty and looks amazing in winter. I watch a lady from England that has a green one too ❤

You’re both an inspiration! We are in the early stages of our first small farm. We have a house to renovate and finding it challenging to grow our animals and also afford all the equipment. We’re just trying to focus on one need at a time. Love that you have shared your journey and we’re excited to share ours.
