One of the best concerts I had the opportunity to go to was in '74 with my girl then Kathy Phillips, my boy Dave Richardson, and his girl Pee Wee, at the Spectrum in Philly featuring Kool & the Gang, Billy Preston w/ thunder thumbs & lightning licks (before they were the Brothers Johnson), Graham Central Station, and Blue Magic. This concert brought me there again. Thanks for posting. Get down with the genie!!!

These guys are great- fantastic musicians. They actually played at my company picnic and I had the family with me around this time(early 2000s) in NJ . They were complete showmen and talented and put on a complete fun show. I wish my wife had not passed away 2 years ago as we started our retirement because how I would have loved to have brought her to concerts like this for the music we so enjoyed when we were young. Now all I can do is peruse the Tube and get a glimpse of what was to have been.

Kool. Dig the sick 'Zaire'-riff and comedy rappers in Jungle-boogie. The prince-axe is +1 from Rivendell, lol, nice guitar Charles at 28.50, 49.40. Just prior to this I watched a TOP show. I really didn't expect what I'm hearing...been a fan since the 70's and knew the horn section was good...however this is stellar! I was kinda expecting groovy disco...Damn! This is Greatness!!!
