@@horseathalt7308 I am quite awake, friend. Even with this threat, we still have to repeatedly make our demands and expectations clear to them. I want the law to apply equally to all and I demand that. They won't apply the law equally to all and they use threats and violence to force people to do things they have no authority for, but we should never stop asking (demanding) that this be done. If enough people were actively demanding it, there would be some positive change. We have a long way to go to fix this stuff and it can seem very hopeless, I know, but never cease to be clear what our expectations are.

Cops like the "one way street" tactic. It means they tell you something, but won't tell you more than that. And if you set them questions which require answers that would tell you more than they already told you, you won't get those answers. Getting those answers means: turning their one way street into a two way street, where you actually talk to each other. The one way street tactic ensures that the cops don't divulge more than they want to (and therfore stay protected and not held accountable). If you keep asking questions, then you're "debating" and they will shut you down with their passive aggressive wording. Accountability is so important in a society where the governing bodies respect their employers - the citizens.

Law enforcement learns from judicial - who believe they are above the law. Legal scholars and Pulitzer investigative journalists have written scathing critique of this two-tiered system of justice that has emerged in America. 'From the nation's beginnings, the law was to be the great equalizer in American life, the guarantor of a common set of rules for all. But over the past four decades, the principle of equality before the law has been effectively abolished. Instead, a two-tiered system of justice ensures that the country's police and government class are virtually immune from prosecution, licensed to act without restraint, while the politically powerless are imprisoned with greater ease and in greater numbers than in any other country in the world.'
