Alistar is made to act as a meat shield between enemy team and your carries and Unbreakable Will is 1 of the best ults (if not the best) for that purpose

@@helenawells3869 Alistar actually has pretty crazy base damage and his CDs scale down significantly throughout the game. Not all champions are about winning lane. The example of "if I play a lane bully I can win in laning phase" is basically saying "if you pick rock I'm sure you'll have a great time if I pick paper" it's a complete non-point. Alistar is incredibly good at controlling the fight and just denying bruisers the fight. If you try to all in him, you just knock up and throw away. It's obviously not a meta pick but he can work as a solo lane tank just fine if you are playing around being engage/Frontline/peel for your team. There are people who have reached challenger one tricking solo lane Ali and that was BEFORE they gave him real ratios and the later buffed the self healing on his.
