I remember, years ago, trying to do adventure mode. I got King of Winter first , tried to play through it, died, went back into Maxwell’s door...and got King of Winter again. Assumed it was always King of Winter first (edit: ALL THE TIME) and never tried again :,)

I'm used to play adventure mode as Heather (A mod character), after 3 or 4 perfect runs in a row I tought it would be fun try to beat it playing as each of the survivors. And sure it is, but also is hella difficult xD Good luck beard!

I'm such a lucky guy I always get "King of Winter" as the first world..... sigh (for those who don't know, King of Winter places you directly in winter, with one piece of clothing and a few supplies). Glad to see you doing adventure mode. I know these videos are old, but it's always great seeing someone venturing into the unknown.

Finally tried adventure mode after i can now regularly live a year. Barely made through Cold Reception. i was actually cooking and eating mandrake roots to max out mystats cause i was on the edge of dying so often and cold reception has barely any food. I did set off a winter trap on the first day of winter and it overlapped the next 3 seasons to make them strange and mild which was at least nice. next was Archepelago, where i could choose between a killer bee field or swamp and died before i could find a way out of either or another wormhole.

Bundling wraps make adventure mode too easy, especially level 5. Use them if you are new to adventure mode or having trouble getting past it. It allows you to take 16 items/stacks through to the next world instead of only 4. It really is almost like cheating. You should always prebuild crockpot icebox fire pit a drying rack and a beebox, pretty much any structure you can before you go through the thing. As Always , love the video Beard.

I love that you cover solo DS. I only have the Switch version and it seems everyone just wants to cover DST. Hard finding good info and videos on solo/Switch DS. Been attempting Adventure Mode. Started with Cold Reception and there are Beefalo EVERYWHERE, lol.

To all the future Don't Starve adventurers: You can go massacre bees until you find a bundling wrap blue print and fill them up with stuff for the next world. You can take 4 items with you to the next world and that includes bundling wraps, so in actuality, you can take 16. Makes adventure mode infinitely easier because you can take resources with you. Also, you can pre-build anything you want and it will stay pre-built into the next world.

Ps, in ds-sw, i noticed if u put the beefs on more, they usually begin to attack EVERYTHING unprovoked. As annoying as that can b, its also a great food source lol. That scene there kinda reminded me of that lol. And lastly, tree guardians marching in single file is hilarious 😂. Over the wkend my bf and myself were playing (ps4) and awakened a guardian,,, right nxt to our camp (eekkk). We managed to lead him away and calm him dwn for winter, only to have him return in early spring and decide to take a nap right nxt to the camp (and a newly planted tree sapling). Adding insult to crazy the spider queen 👑 and her minions also decided to pay us a visit, only to get stuck on our tree crops lol. We ended the session there, coz we kept dying trying to get her unstuck. Not quite at the battle level to take her on atm, so not sure wot to do ugh.

I beat adventure mode only once with WX because of the gears you get due to all the clockworks but even then it just pushed me to my absult best to pull it off but even then i had to go back to adventer mode to unlock wes whom i main a lot now
