Just out of curiosity I ran the number plate LP14RYX shown on a detached front bumper assembly at 6:50 through the DVLA checker and this relates to a 3.0 liitre diesel Mercedes E-class whose tax disc expired on 13 October 2023 and has a valid MoT, which it passed two weeks ago without advisories expiring on 27 September 2024. In other words, it has appeared at that old tram depot and has been completely dismantled in the last 2 weeks. I can only think of one obvious explanation for that and that is criminal activity.

The VXR was an easy spot. They didn’t make a 5dr VXR. It was proper Barry’d up too.

Just about to say adsatly the same , I've had both a vxr and a 1.9 CDTi elite and that was an elite as it was only model to have crome trim round the windows my vxr was an early 1 an 05 and the Elite a 58 plate.

Saw this covered by Vacant Haven last Sunday, although it was a lot quieter explore for them. Maybe you hit it on a weekday when the area was busy with workers at nearby sites?. Could be an innocent operation, a few of those cars had panel damage and writing on the screens which suggest copart style auctions or insurance salvage as a source. I think the place is too open for nefarious activity, you were only there for half an hour and people were constantly around.

The silver Focus ST hasn’t been MOT’d or taxed since 2018. Done over 100,000 miles. Maybe bought for scrap.

something very strange about that silver ST, DVLA say its silver MOT check says it's green. You can clearly see it has been ultimate green on the edge of the quarter panel and the front radiator support. But ST's never came in green,

I'd say based off the writing and numbers on them they're probably auction vehicles that the owner of them probably parts out or maybe did at one point. A chop shop would cut them up and send them out quickly.

I see most of the cars are untaxed and without MOT’s. The fake Astra VXR was the only one I checked where it was last taxed in 2020 with the MOT running out in April this year. My guess it’s either a chop shop or could it have been a police impound yard? Impound yards usually take the vehicles away for crushing though.

This is was a ww2 gun boat repair yard the tram lines were used to haul the boats from the water way in to 1 of 10 sheds/bays

I was thinking some storage place for an auction place for repo vehicles/items etc. Who knows unless the owner of the yard comes forward. I watched this the other day on Vacant Haven and there was so many ideas thrown out there.

Look to be accident damage or stolen recovered. Doesn't look dodgy to me. A lot have that yellow marker pen indicative of salvage vehicles. Those Range Rovers are worth scrap value at best. Not a single one there worth more than 7K, assuming they were decent runners. But I suspect they are all insurance write offs.

The focus was never recorded as stolen, but has a marker for scrapped for destruction with certificate issued in feb 2024, so my guess is it was a legit operation
