Ill say this, i was an atheist/buddhist, i was very hardheaded, if you brought up jesus it was basically you saying you thought aliens were real, i dismissed you as crazy, im not sure how i found jesus but im glad i did, maybe it was because i was at my lowest point, God himself broke me down to humble me, opened my spiritual heart, now im a beliver, my faith waivers from time to time but thats normal. Some people are more beholden to the ancient part of the brain (Meso Limbic System/emotional) rather than someone that reasons using the modern part (Frontal Cortex/rational). Personal testimony is neither a testimony or evidence of what you believe, the bible , is not evidence of your believed god existing, it is a book of allergorical revelationary claims by mainly unknown authors, there is no actual record, recorded sourced from multiple independent sources , verified and corroborated by any known and proven to exist persons on anything to do with the Jesus of the Bible, the only evidence you have is the gospels and st Paul's letters, st Paul never knew him or offered source from anyone known to have known him, the gospels are not signed, not original, not written by any that claimed to know him and not written by those acreditted with doing so, in other words they are totally unacceptable as evidence. Not one person has ever given irrefutable, undeniable, indisputable, conclusive scrap of evidence that the Jesus of the Bible ever existed as a man never mind that he was a god, as far as gods existing as claimed, not one claimant has ever offered Irrefutable, undeniable, indisputable, empirical, unfalsifiable, conclusive scrap of evidence of any gods exist existing.

i am curious to know if you happen to have any good "sharing your faith" story. Cuz i have mine and i would like to share here but i would like to know if you have one as well. In last week of last year i was playing basketball in a square beside my grandma's apartment where i stay every christmas in a city 3 road hours away from my city, and eventually one of the guys missed a ball and yelled "JESUS CHRIST", i just said "don't use the name of God in vain", when i said that i just thought "why the heck did i say that? WHY DID I SAY IT?" it had just came out of nowhere and i didn't know why. The guy said he didn't believe and neither the other, i said that i did, and we started talking, God put me in their way in the most perfect timing because i had spent the last 6 months studying a lot of apologetics and they raised their objections, genuinely wanting to know and i was ready to answer all of them, i even shared my testimony of cases where God superanturally healed me. eventually i had lee strobel's "the case for Christ" book and i decided to let one of them borrow it and got both of their whatsapp , he only finished the book after the pandemic and i wouldn't be able to get it back, he still doesn't believe but wants to study more and admits that from the book alone there's nowhere to run from the conclusion that Jesus did rise from the dead, is intrigued and wants to find out the truth. Eventually under "house arrest" because of the virus, i started praying asking God to give me a chance to preach the gospel to people even being stuck at home. And suddenly a weird feeling in my heart reminded me of the other guy who i preached the gospel to in that day. Basically saying "you stood in this city 3 hours away from your home for a month and became friends with these 2, you have the number of both of them, you're not gonna be able to get the book back for quite a while, let the other one borrow it. The one with the book now is not the only one you spoke about God with is he? The other one also needs to hear it!" And i got in contact with him, with the conversation all planned to make it seem like my intention was not to get him to borrow the book, and eventually, he accepted to get my book from our friend and is gonna read it. I pray that both of them learn the truth.

@@Tc17001 yeah well, so far the last friend i gave the book to didn't even read the third chapter as far as i know, and i know none of them believe yet. He thought the author was getting too easily convinced, and one day i spoke to him and he just started asking me theological stuff like, 3 or 4 months ago, and the conversation ended with him saying "I think God could be more obvious" I said "If he were too obvious everyone would wanna go to him to be "buddies with the creator' for selfish reasons. So he kinda has to hide enough for nobody to see him, but show himself enough for those who seek him to be able to find him". And he replied "i do!" I was blown away, and i said "Then all you gotta do is ask him to reveal himself to you and he will, i don't know when or how but he will!" Since then i met him quite a few times and the conversation never came back :(. I worry more about this one, he's a teenager who buys into the marxist BS the world's teaching, he posts barely chloted pictures as his profile pics on whatzapp, and nothing i learned in apologetics i say to try to convince him God's true or about the miraculous healings i went through... seem to have any effect. He just flat out disagreed with all, even with points that convince atheists of certain points of christianityb (like the gospel accounts being reliable for several reasons i quoted, he just flat out disagreed). I Realised my greatest achievment with this one was breaking the stereotype he most likely had with christians. All his behavior and theological questions lead me to believe i'm his first ever christian friend, so he probably grew up hearing the stereotype the media gives about us, judgemental with no sense of humor and hypocritical. And the first christian friend he meets was not like that, in fact if that's true, he's most likely observing me, and even expected me to say something about his pictures and i said nothing. So i think i said all there was to say to this one, so now i'm praying for God to give me an opportunity to love the kid into the kingdom, cuz i already said what i had to.

@@Tc17001 AS TO MY OTHER FRIEND, the one who finished reading "the case for Christ", i spoke to found out he had a friend who lost his faith, and that kinda withered my hopes of him being saved, and one day i spoke to this friend of mine's evangelical girlfriend and she confirmed to me that this friend of his was indeed standing in the way of his salvation big time... than i almost gave up, the guy not only seemed decided not to be decided but he had a former christian friend who was standing in the way big time, and God showed himself to me, giving me assurance he had everything under control, this friend of his moved to another state.... God was handling it. And i find out that my friend is studying the "new world order" subject and is surprised by how much it seems to be lining up with the biblical prophecies of the end (i am also thinking we're close to the triple 6 dude showing up, everything seems to be setting up the stage for the antichrist, do you feel the same?) and i asked "what does that do to your agnosticism?" He said it did affect it, but not much and that he was "indecision incarnate" (making me even more sure that the former christian friend of his was standing in the way of his salvation big time, and that GOD took him away) and i got on my knees and prayed "God, now let it not be ME who says whatever i have to say, but you" (we were talking through whatzapp), and i told him "You can't be undecided about this, i don't think we have another 2 decades with all i'm seeing, i'm seeing the book of revelation in 3D now and who knows how much time we have? In fact, You can't know if you're gonna have a tomorrow! What if you die undecided and i'm right? You read the case for christ, you seen the arguments, you have more than enough to make a decision, just open your heart to God and let him in! I am saying this as your friend cuz i don't want you to die without Jesus!" He thanked the concern but it was it. Less than a week later he made a joke about the antichrist that i would find it funny had it come from a christian, i said it was serious and i wouldn't laugh, cuz the antichrist would precede the worse time in human histiry! He said he kinda wanted it to be soon, because it would mean justice and it would mean "the bad going to hell and the good, to heaven". I had to say to him (next comment but is just gonna be what i told him)

Great points especially about planting the seed and building relationships. I think unbelievers or people weak in faith get really turned off when some believers overload all their beliefs and views on them right away, which doesn't help. You don't learn a new skill overnight or marry somebody after just one date. Growing in faith and developing an amazing relationship with God in Jesus's name can take time. I wish all Christians would realize this. That's why grace, kindness and patience are so important and in my opinion, key to eventually softening one's heart when we share our faith.

@What's Hatnin im sure there's fossils and human bones that look older aged than ours today. But maybe there isn't idk. And having answers to questions can to an extent clear the questions on that once you believe in God who's is supernatural aka spiritual then you can believe other supernatural things like a talking donkey. There 100 year old people today and people were much healthier and physically fit back then also look at the buildings still around today from that time its clear they had more knowledge that and the fact I believe in God makes it not hard to believe and know in my heart these details you speak of in the Bible are indeed facts.

I understand the fear of telling your family members. You know you want them to know the truth and yet you fear and have anxiety. I am still struggling with this and I need to be more brave. My whole family are agnostics and atheists, mentioning God and faith is an unspoken topic and is very criticised. I pray that God will prepare the hearts (the soil) of your family for the news you are about to bring to them (the seed) and that they will hear and listen to your words. So that they may believe and trust in Jesus as their saviour and God(produce fruit). These are all very good points, Brother Allen, and great approaches to sharing the gospel - "IF" you have the convenience of "time" to eventually get around to sharing, however, this does not answer how to witness when you are not likely to meet that person you're witnessing to again! It doesn't answer how to witness to the person on their "deathbed". It doesn't answer how to witness to someone who has only minutes to live. YES! GOD can certainly help us to reach those persons, but we must also remember THAT, when witnessing to someone we plan on "building a relationship" with. If too much time is taken building a relationship, one might actually find it more difficult to present the gospel! The next day or even the next moment is not promised, and the value of time is not always a convenience. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says: "For HE says, I have heard you in an accepted time, and I have helped you in a day of salvation: behold, NOW is the accepted time; NOW is the day of salvation"! We can build a relationship in minutes, and still gain an opening to present the gospel the very day we meet someone. I am not dismissing building a relationship over time in hopes of leading someone to CHRIST, but that should not be our sole approach to sharing. It actually should be our secondary approach, because the gospel message is URGENT! Granted, there are "street preachers" who lack a certain amount of tact, but there are others, such as Ray Comfort who have a very kind, loving, low-key but urgent approach, which allows a stranger to get comfortable with being given the gospel. Once again, you shared some very good information, but there is some important information, it seems was left unanswered. The LORD bless!

He is an atheist and even I took him to church he disliked being there. And I totally get it. Recently I’ve been meeting many new people (starting uni soon), and I’ve had to share my faith frequently. I thank the Holy Spirit bc He has helped me a lot - usually when talking to new people, I’d feel guilty if I felt within me that I really should wait some more/let the relationship grow more before I share my faith. So thankful that you shared a verse that reaffirms this desire, so now I don’t have to feel guilty about it. I guess I underestimated the importance of developing trust between people, and having a genuine interest in them before sharing your faith, rather than just bombarding them with images as soon as possible. This is the video I needed because I got into a discussion over a topic about God and I mentioned Bible to a old friend who wasn't a true believer in the Bible, he wasn't saying all true things about God. I actually got into argument with his fiance because she believes the Bible wasn't written by God, she believed it was from men and believe they were evil men. But when I was speaking the truth about it. Now I realize she was arguing with me and trying to trap and create doubt in what I believe in. It actually feels like Satan was speaking through her. Witnessing maybe a lifelong thing with one person. I've known someone a year and a half we connected because our personalities are similar and our hearts are similar but she's an atheist. We've talked about God and the Bible maybe three times in a year and a half. One of our conversations was shut down by her but then several months later she expressed some difficulty in her family and scripture that 100% applied to the situation came to my mind and made me feel so passionate to share it with her and she really appreciated it. I'm staying in touch as always and it's not because I want to be able to boast that I've converted someone no it's because I want to share I want someone else who doesn't know what it's like to be right in the heart of God in his love and in his salvation and in his life I want that for someone else

Hello good people! if there ever was a sinner it was me. If there ever was a backslider it was me. But God has never left me even at my worst. Even now, I'm praying according to his word that he would restore my soul and lead me in the path of righteousness for His name's sake. I'm praying every day that God would make me a fisher of men! But I feel so inadequate because I have backslid so many times. I hate the sin and I hate the flesh. Not sure how others have done it but it's been a major struggle for me ever since I was saved. Over and over and over I have failed. But I just want to say one thing here and it's not an excuse for my failures. I was never taught how to do spiritual warfare and all this time I've been battling the flesh [my old self the flesh] when I should have been battling in the spirit. It was like I got saved and thrown to the wolves sort of speak... How do you bind things? How do you lose things in heaven and on earth? What does all this mean and how does it all work? How do you put on the whole armor of God...what armor? Yes, I know the helmet, shield, etc.... but how does it work, how do you use it? How do you know or gauge if you've won the battle or not?
