Jesus spoke to me this morning! Here's the story. During the week before I came to church this morning I was praying for days that God would forgive me for my sins and praying for days that I would be redeemed and I would be baptized one day. I noticed myself praying about absolutely anything countless amount of times everyday and I told Jesus that I accepted him into my life. Then a few nights ago, the Holy spirit guided me to John which was where I read about Jesus being crucified and where Jesus prayed for himself and for his followers. I felt like my soul was being touched, and being redeemed and my faith was growing. Then this morning, I was in church during second service, and I was reading through Acts 1: 4-8, Acts 2: 25 and Acts 2:35 and Jesus spoke to me straight from the scripture. I knew it was Jesus speaking to me because I felt something moving me. I felt the Holy spirit in me as well. He was telling me to be Baptized, so I'm definitely getting baptized next week.

Yes, there are definitely more than just "two women" of Revelation. There are three different women, alone in Revelation 12. The Whore of Babylon, is the United States, So, there are, at least four women in the book of Revelation.

I might have to do this one or two points at a time. well for your first point, where is the scripture you are referring too in revelation? and the second point. Jesus is talking about death spiritually - not physical bodily death when He says those who believe in Him will never die. This is because Christians are spiritually born again when they believe and are saved by Jesus. We all die physical bodily deaths, but born again Christians will not experience spiritual death. There are several other scriptures that support this like John 3:16.

@@TexasBlues-ip6sv an important part of Bible study is being prayerful, asking the Holy Spirit to guide you to understand the truth, and also considering historical/social context, comparing the interpretation you might have with the rest of the scriptures because the word of God is inerrant so there should be no contradictions. I see many times people think there is something contradictory in the Bible, they are misinterpreting something and running with it. Trust me I have been challenged when I’ve read the Word and questioned it’s validity - a lot of it is heavy and obviously against beliefs and values contemporary society has so yeah I get that. (11-13) God’s principle of impartiality. For there is no partiality with God. For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; a. For there is no partiality with God: The word translated partiality comes from two ancient Greek words put together - to receive and face. It means to judge things on the basis of externals or preconceived notions. i. Some ancient rabbis taught that God showed partiality towards the Jews. They said: “God will judge the Gentiles with one measure and the Jews with another.” b. For not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified: God’s righteous judgment is not withheld because someone has heard the law; it is only held back if someone actually does the law. i. The Jewish person - or the religious person - may think that he is saved because he has the law; but has he kept it? The Gentile may think that he is saved because he does not have the law, but has he kept the dictates of his own conscience? ii. “People will be condemned, not because they have the law or do not have the law, but because they have sinned.” (Morris) c. As many as have sinned without law will also perish without law: Judgment for sin can come with or without the law.

The best thing you can do is pray and love on them. Respectfully disagree & don't make a big deal. Live your example, keep praying🙏🙏🙏, and let God work. When we are pushy, we work against God (not saying don't ever talk or deal with the issue, just don't try to force the issue). I am learning to unlearn everything forced on me growing up, and it makes more sense. God knows what He's doing! (This is also an answer to my prayers; pray I'm a good example & have right words for friends moving to our city. I have already witnessed, but learning to do better❤️🙏)

Great message, from someone who was active in the gay community for about 22yrs as time went by my desires and feelings became lighter and lighter. Never felt like I fitted in and was called judgemental because I didn't agree with what so many others were so comfortable doing and felt no remorse or shame in it. I brought me place where I started to feel like why am I wasting time risking my soul and go to hell for a community that dislikes me because I'm not a follower. I was never really active sexually a lot so practicing celibacy was easy to do, deleted all porn and anything sexual like off my phone and just focused on work, sewing, photography and it keeps me happy and I don't even miss or think about dating. I have a accepted I'll probably just be single and celibate and im ok with that as long as I continue to practice good habits and stay on the right path I'll have a great chance of going to heaven.

Though practicing good habits and staying on the right path is a good start, repenting and asking Jesus to come into your heart to be your Lord and Savior must happen. You, or no one else, can change their life without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Also, read God's word, the Bible, everyday. I try to stay clear of anything relating to the book of revelation right now due to not being spiritually, mentally or emotionally strong and mature enough to handle it right now or look at it with a objective mindset I but like how you Pastor Parr teach and how anything you teach is honest, word to word with the bible and not condemning or judgemental either. I will read revelation one day but for now due to my own immaturity and inability to see some things ( depedneding on the topic) with a open mind, mature and objective perspective I choose to stay clear of it . I wish to grow stronger in my faith , spirit and be open and not let my emotions get to me. I do want to be clear I am not choosing to read revelations due to denial or refusal to beleave because that is not the case . I get it. I used to actually be afraid to read Revelation mainly because of how people would describe it like a horror story. Like whenever something terrible happens in the world, " that's in Revelation ls, yall better get right with Jesus." Eventually I was brave enough to ask God to take away the anxiety and I read it. It wasn't as bad as my head and people made it out to be. I mean it was intense but still not that bad. Read it when you're ready and pray God help you understand what you're reading and take away any anxieties away. 🙏🏾❤️
