The second labor is usually easier. My second child, (the youngest), was born in an ambulance. It was so easy that I just figured it was another false alarm. We made it 5 blocks away from the house, but all's well that ends well.

Exciting times, Beeson Fam!! My advice: just be ready for it to happen at any time. My water broke 6 weeks early...I just kept thinking, wait I am not ready, but my son sure was! Have your babysitter for Jack available at a moment's notice, bag packed, and gas in the car at all times. That way whatever day she decides to come into this world you will be ready. 💗💝👶

I love Jack's trough bib! I think it's really great that you are thinking through what you want and don't want based on the last birth! You are both such good parents! I'm honestly a little envious of your kids! I had it a bit rough but I'm through it now. And I'm grateful for what I do have now, all the people that love me. You bring laughter, smiles and comfort to me, truly. I look forward to your videos. I'm really looking forward to knowing the name of your baby girl! You said you wanted a name that can be for a boy or a girl. I haven't figured it out and I couldn't see any clues from your short video. nowadays there are a lot of names that used to be exclusively for one gender that are used for both now... so it could be anything. Is she going to have a middle name? Does Jack have a middle name? your new house in Hawaii seems huge and when you're building in Utah it's going to be even bigger! I'm so happy for you truly, truly! She was so tiny, smart, and absolutely adorable. Also she had a picture of her family cause she would miss them a lil, and her lil sad face when she would just miss them and need a hug was so cute but saddening. She also was the one who remembered all the songs we learned and the dance moves, doing it with her cute and lil chunky arms, like oml

I had a baby girl 5 months ago and I had her natural. It was the most amazing and empowering thing I’ve ever done. It hurts like hell, but I just thought to myself, “it’s all going to be over soon. It’s not going to last forever.” Also, you can feel when you’re pushing so you’re not going to be pushing for like 20,30,40 minutes like you would with an epidural. I had a contraction pushed twice and she was out. Do is Sara!! You’re strong!! You can do that ish 😘🤍
@allytebow
@allytebow Жыл бұрын
Everyone’s experiences are different. I had an epidural with all 3 of my kids and this last one 2 months ago felt the most “natural.” I thought maybe it’s not working as well but they don’t put as much Fentanyl in them anymore so it makes it a bit less “numb all down there.” I also have never pushed for 20, 30, or 40 mins with an epidural… be careful how you word things as it could scare others in the same boat. 😃
@Koreacasian

I had a natural, home birth, and YES the pushing phase hurt like Hell! I had no epidural or any meds, yet it still took me 40 loooong agonizing minutes to push my baby out of me! At one point I was screaming, " Get it out! " lol So, long push times can still happen with a natural birth. But, it was sooo worth it, and I would still never have anything but a natural, home birth, as it was truly an amazing, glorious, experience.

@@Koreacasian Her comment was hardly "policing" or criticizing lol She is correct about how everyone has different experiences, and to not spread disinformation. My natural, home birth, with no epidural or meds of any kind, DID take 40 agonizing minutes. Scientific evidence changes monthly! 🤣😃

Seconded on the walking! Walking and squatting through contractions really helped me.....as did feeling relaxed and in control.....I think Sarah will feel that way if she gets a midwife or doula to help.... Lying flat on your back is also the hardest position to push in as it doesn't work with gravity.....hopefully with a midwife who is supportive, Sarah will find what is best for her.

The pelvic floor is literally the pelvis/pelvic bone, aka your body getting for your princess to pass through the birth canal. You don't always feel it but it's often more intense during your 3rd trimester so it makes sense. Epidural is a great invention if it works but having had all those issues I can't blame you for not wanting to use it this time. It kind of sounds like there was air trapped in your spine, and it can happen but it's more rare, however it explains so much with your headaches as well if that's the case, as well as the back pain for so long. You're doing incredible and the Patrick Star pants are really cute.

Hi guys, love following your life and want to share my experience. My sister in law told me this amazing natural aid for dilation. She had 4 kids at home, I had one. Her midwife told her about this and do know that it REALLY works pretty quickly so use it when you’re ready: Find 2 narrow six inch combs, the old-fashioned metal ones are best but hard plastic can work . Hold one in each hand with the teeth touching the tips of your fingers and the spines of the comb in your palms. When you apply pressure to the fingertips, it activates the meridian that controls dilation. When I was ready, I just used a steady, firm pressure and had to call my midwife back in 30 minutes, asking her to come over. She had left because I was only 1cm and said she’d check back in a few hours! Once she arrived, I was fully dilated and delivered quickly. I don’t know why this isn’t more commonly known. I’m sure individual results vary but 5 out of 5 success stories is impressive. I was very happy! All the best to you 4!!

I hate shots, it’s a real fear. The same as if someone is scared of heights or spiders. I’ve always wondered how I’m going to get through pregnancies, & this was very encouraging.

I was the same. I took husband-coached childbirth class and even though he really was not on top of his game, his presence and the fact that we understood the process makes it all do-able. It’s painful, but quite frankly, so is the rest of life, and then you get a baby.
