Probably: After the Eds were finally accepted, 10 years passed. Eddy became a small businessman, Ed works as a demolition of buildings and architecture studies, and Edd is a researcher. And they rescued that van from the container and rebuilt it. Happy 20 years Ed Edd n Eddy, really special show for me.

It’s kind of wholesome to see Double D with the long hair. Maybe he hid it under the hat because he never felt comfortable revealing it. But with these two, he can be himself and let it down. I like to think this is them in high school, still best friends, still accepted with the others, and they rebuilt that van from the junkyard!

He was able to take care of himself at a young age, yet wasn't able, nor allowed to use any sharp or dangerous objects. Cutting his hair was something he didn't try, and slowly it grew longer. When his parents noticed this, they decided to cut it before going to work, though in a haste. After they left, Edd noticed the damage and decided to fix his hair himself, but without success. His parents did order him to go to the barber right after their own attempt, rightfully assuming they didn't do a great job, but Edd wasn't keen on the idea of going outside and showing his hairdo to anyone. Instead he hid it with a ski hat. Edd's parents never asked any questions afterwards. Since Edd's mother was always fond of his long hair, unlike his father, Edd decided not to touch the long right half at the back his head (the left half was already cut off by his parents; these are the three hairs) and made his mother believe he was wearing the hat to hide his intact long hair from his father. In the meantime, his father believed that the hat was his hair, since it was black, like Edd's original hair colour.

Idea: Ed, Edd, and Eddy gritty reboot. The kids all grown up in their 20s, everyone has left the cul-de-sac. Double Dee is a chemist, Eddy is a used car saleman, and Ed is an absolute junkie. eddy ends up getting fired and is desperately seeking money. He comes across Ed in an alley, smoking crystal meth. He tells Eddy that he is poor, but Eddy gets an idea, he sees the potential of money that they can earn. He goes to Double Dee to help produce the meth, but He says no. A couple days later, DD finds out he has cancer. He agrees to help his friends in order to pay for his treatment. We see DD transform from a nice, nerdy fellow into the King of the Cul-de-Sac. Breaking Ed.

Double Dee then starts smoking weed and doing LCD and the others find out and smoke with him too, they start to hallucinate and appear in a strange place that looks like a swamp, ed points out he saw a movie that had a familiar swamp, they see a mysterious giant green figure, eddy points out it looks like Shrek, Ed said he seen a video of Shrek penetrating someones butter toast, they panic and run, double dee ran away faster than any of them for once, but eddy tripped and fell, he screamed and screamed but ed and double dee were far from hearing him, Shrek screamed WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP, eddy replied with a small cry, Shrek laughs but silences eddy and whispers, love is like onion eddy, the more you peel its layers the more it stinks, eddy stands there shocked, and cries, Shrek pulls down his pants and makes eddy take his off, Shrek starts penetrating eddy, eddy faints and Shrek eventually finishes inside eddy and says "better out than in I always say" . And double dee and ed hear what happened after stopping, ed started to cry and double dee started vomiting, and that kids, was the last time they ever saw eddy, ever again.

God. This reminds me of my friends shortly after we graduated from High School. Had a buddy who had really long hair who would always sit in the back. My other buddy would drive his mini van and I would always sit shot gun. Graduated in 2006 and am 34 currently.
